Questions & Answers

What is the maximum number of putters that can be stored in the top pouch?

In the top pouch, two putters fit perfectly!

Is this something that can be added to the MVP cart?

The MVP Disc Sports Backpack Shuttle Disc Golf Bag is not recommended for use with the MVP Disc Sports Rover Cart because the shuttle bag has a narrow base and would be difficult to secure.

Is there any way to bolster this? What's the difference between PVC, foam, and cardboard, for example?

I don't know because it was a gift for my son. If that helps, I believe there was some foam support, and he loves the bag.

Is it possible to remove the inner compartments?

I'm not sure what you mean by compartments; there aren't any dividers for the discs. There is a piece of velcro on the bottom zipper flap so you can hide it inside where the discs go, but that's it.

Overall, this is a good piece
4/5

I removed the plastic wrap from the box, sat it down, and it remained upright. I tossed it across the room, picked it up, didn't fluff it up or widen the base, sat it down, and it stayed upright. I sat it down and it rolled over because I only put four putters in the top pocket. I filled the bottom with 15 discs, sat it down, and it remained upright. It appears to be of average quality at first glance. It's neither cheap nor expensive, but it's exactly in the middle. I think I'd like a $30 bag, but I haven't done anything since late March except listen to chinging chains and watch videos from the World Science Festival. After a few months of use, I'll make an update. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> After more than a dozen 18-hole rounds in varying conditions, the bag is still in great shape. When I was looking for a friend's disc, some berries fell into it. On the inside, I stained it purple, but it had no effect on its ability to stand up straight. br>Just for fun, I cut a piece of the cardboard the backpack came in to fit the size of the floor space in the bottom. When you set it down, it will have a solid footprint. When I'm on a hill, I also do what's known as "turning it. " When I do that incredibly difficult thing called "turning it," it stays standing. " Some of you are upset because your tacos aren't crunchy and you want to speak with the manager. Grow up. br>br>Update number two: The top side's thin zippered pocket zips all the way down, revealing the contents, which include a cell phone, keys, and other items that will ruin your day if they fall out. I recommend squirting a little superglue in the area of 1. 5" from the bottom of the zipper, so it can hold on to whatever is in the pocket if you forget to zip it. It still allows for "hand-sized" access to the pocket, but it makes it much more difficult for something to fall out.

This is an excellent first backpack for disc golf
5/5

This backpack is the perfect size for my growing disc collection as a long-time casual player who is finally taking things to the next level. My poor sling bag couldn't handle everything I was trying to give it as I started using more discs for better shot variety or redundancy (a river near my home course makes losing discs possible with an errant throw), and it couldn't handle everything I was trying to give it. br>br>Right now, I'm using this backpack to carry 15 discs in the main compartment, with room for a few more, and 2-inch discs in the side pockets. 4 in the putter pocket on top, where I keep my towel and a light jacket at the moment. The slim accessory pocket is ideal for my phone, wallet, and keys, and the water bottle holder is enormous, holding my half gallon water bottle with ease. br>br>I've been using this bag at least four times a week for the past month, and I've had no complaints about its comfort while hiking around the state park where my home course is located. It also appears to be well-made, with my only quibble being some oddly placed velcro that can be used to shrink the putter pocket's size. Aside from that, the pack is well-made and durable, and I have no reservations about its long-term durability. br>br>Overall, I think this is a great backpack for an intermediate player who isn't yet carrying 20 discs on the course.

Holds discs but has no structure and is very floppy
3/5

I'm a beginner in the game. On our disc golf outings, my son and I both use this bag. It has enough room to hold both of our discs. The bag has no internal structure, which is unfortunate. If you don't put enough discs in the main compartment, they will fall over and be difficult to sort through. To avoid this, we usually bring discs that we aren't going to use. Everything collapses when you sit the bag down, making it difficult to remove or insert discs. Even on semi-firm ground, it will not sit up straight. terrain with no slopes A second water bottle holder would be nice to have, but this may be unique to people who use the same bag for two players. br>br>Overall, the bag holds discs, so it's not bad for the money. If I had to buy it again, I'd opt for something with more rigidity, such as a Dynamic Discs model.

For the size, there is a lot of room! This bag was a steal for me because I got it when it was on sale! I bought this for my son's father's birthday and I'm still amazed at the value I got for the price
5/5

He competes in intermediate disc golf tournaments and has so many discs that he couldn't fit them all in his Dynamic Discs trooper bag, which is much larger than this one but holds the same number of discs! He started storing discs that wouldn't fit in his trooper in a diaper box in his truck, so I figured he just needed a new bag! This bag is much smaller than the trooper, but it can still hold more than 20 discs! Amazing! Other features include additional storage compartments, bottle holders, and a mini cooler on top that can also be used to store marker discs. My purchase has exceeded my expectations! I would strongly advise!.

This item is of poor quality and will not last very long
3/5

It's not bad for a beginner disc backpack, and it's comfortable, but it's poorly made, so it's not worth $40. I'd only had it for about a month when the water bottle pocket began to rip away from the bag's side, and about a week ago (about 2. The zipper on the main compartment flew off 5 months after I purchased it. Even if the ground is perfectly flat, the bag will not stand up.

Player who is a novice bag for a single - 18 discs fit perfectly in this case - It's a great deal at $25
5/5

I paid $25 for this bag, which I believe is a good deal considering the features. I have 18 discs in mine, and it holds them perfectly. When I play with it, I usually get four or five. 6 in the top pocket, which is where I keep my most frequently used items. It's big enough to hold my 32oz water bottle. I believe it has sufficient storage for a single player; however, if you are the 'bag handler' for a group of people going out, you will most likely wish it had more pockets. On one side, there's a'small accessory pocket,' as I believe they call it; I wish it had one on both sides - I was able to fit a few more items into the bag as a result. However, if you are a beginner who is still deciding how much you want to play, I would not be put off if the price is set at $25.
