In this price range, the majority of the practice baskets are nearly identical. I bought another from a different brand, and I believe they were all made in the same factory. Having said that, I appreciate the fact that MVP signs it. When the box arrived at my house, it appeared that it had been dropped from the truck several times. The wire basket was bent up at the rim and hung crookedly on the pole when I put it together. Instead of going through Amazon or the seller, I contacted MVP directly (MVP included a small card in the box expressing my dissatisfaction). In a matter of days, I had a replacement part. MVP did a great job standing behind their product, even though it wasn't their fault, and I've been using it ever since. It catches as well as any other plastic basket I've ever thrown. The chains have a nice sheen to them. I keep it outside (though covered) and it shows no signs of rust or peeling paint. The MVP basket's powder coat appears to be a little more durable than the other basket, which shall remain nameless. You'll be more than satisfied with the product and what it does for your game if you can get it on sale like I did. Putt for money and drive for show.
I even included LED lights that could be used at night if desired. In the future, I will undoubtedly purchase another basket!.
I finally have the space, so I bought one, and it is without a doubt one of my favorite purchases ever! First and foremost, this basket's color is stunning: it's a black beauty! Although the chains don't catch as many discs as a heavy-duty basket, they do give you a good idea of how far your putting has progressed. It took less than a minute to put together the first time, and it's simple to disassemble if you want to take it with you. Anyone looking to improve their game will benefit greatly from this addition!.
Additional Components. Buy with caution. I really like this basket. It's light and simple to put together. This was the first thing I got, followed by the carrying bag and precision chains. The entire set is simple to operate and ideal for storing in a trunk or RV. I don't use stakes and don't mind if it's a little shaky on even slightly rocky ground. This is an excellent purchase.
I really like this basket. It took less than five minutes from opening the box it came in to throwing the first putt. Only hard putts on the basket itself or the top band caused it to wobble once it was assembled. It also came with four small metal stakes to keep it in place, but on a flat lawn, these are unnecessary. br>br>The chains aren't course quality, but that's to be expected from a practice basket at this price point, and the ones here are decent, so losing a star isn't justified. br>br>I'd buy this basket again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone looking for a backyard practice basket.
I'm completely enamored with it. It's a lot of fun, super sturdy, and simple to put together, and the best part is that it's a lot less expensive than I expected! I just ordered my second one last week and chose the Pro this time; however, I think the Lite is perfectly fine; the only issue is that the chains may be a tad light, causing the disc to slip through them instead of catching every now and then. It's a minor thing, though, and it only happens once in a while. I just went with the Pro this time because the chains are a little heavier, and for only $40 more, it seems like something I'll keep forever and is well worth it. I've had a lot of fun with this already!.
I wanted a basket with a good balance of portability, size, and quality. All of the boxes are checked in this case. It's heavy enough to feel solid but light enough to be portable (around 35 pounds, I believe). It doesn't come with a travel bag, but everything fits inside the basket when it's not in use. There were no paint or finish flaws on mine when I got it. This is a basket that I strongly recommend.
It's very simple to assemble, and it's a good basket for the price. Because it's my first basket, I don't have much to compare it to, but so far it's fantastic. It appears to be well-made and appealing to the eye.
