I really enjoy this disc. My experience throwing discs is about 2 months now. I started out with some basic fairway drivers (Thunderbirds), which have been really good starter discs. In order to increase my distance during long distance drives, I wanted to get a faster disc that had a little less fade. About 200 times per week I averaged The longest I could throw was 225 feet, and after going to the park on a Saturday, I was able to throw over 300 feet as my long and average around 275 feet. The ball lands so softly after being thrown straight. During my time with this, I hit the cement several times that would have damaged an old DX version. However, the "Beast" handled those hits without any problems -) It's a great disc and my spouse bought one. Those who are trying to increase their drive with a straight shot would benefit from this disc. My order was shipped promptly, and the product was received within the specified time-frame.
Throwing it fast will waste your time if you don't have the throw speed to handle it. Take it from me as someone who is a complete newbie. Most of my other drivers are much further than this one so I am able to throw them as far as this. However, it is still great to get out there and rip with the ripcord.
At 138g, this floating weight floats in water.
I wouldn't say that this disc improved my game, but I think it did. For a softer throw, I think lighter is better, and for a hard throw, I think heavier is better.
The product I ordered was exactly what I wanted. Exactly as described and arrived in perfect condition
This light weight beast is a great flex disc in low wind/ tailwind situations to improve arm speed/throw for me.
This seems to be easier to use than the heavy wraith which I stupidly obtained first. My current favorite. Starting to get better (for beginners).
There is a lot of good content in this.
It flies very well despite being very light. To get used to the lightness, it takes a little while.
