It's great for hunting, and I've used it for Disc Golf as well.
I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't be possible. It has options for measuring yards, meters, and feet.
Sorry, but it didn't work out that way.

My boyfriend received this as a birthday present. I'll never understand why he finds this amusing, but he spends a lot of time in the field throwing discs to see how far he can throw them. Finally, if you're dating or married to someone who enjoys disc golf, you should invest in this small item. Sure, they might come back telling you some random numbers, foot yards, etc. , but I find that a simple "wow, you're really improving" or "you're really getting there!" or "wow, you're really getting there!" or "wow, you're really getting there!" or "wow, you're really getting there!" or "wow, you're really getting there!" or "wow, you're really getting there!" or "wow, you're really "It's a decent acknowledgement, and he appears pleased. After multiple advertisements on Jomez, I finally caved in and bought this for Disc Golf. Okay, we were really looking forward to getting our hands on this rangefinder. My husband and I have been playing disc golf for ten years, and he has been playing for eleven years. We're really looking forward to getting readouts on our drives! Also, to determine the actual distance between the basket and the player. I only gave it four stars because it didn't come with a carrying case or any kind of protective cover. Aside from that, everything is very straightforward and simple to use.
I put this in my disc golf bag about two months ago and I use it all the time. This tool is credited with transforming my erratic and hesitant game into one that is more consistent and dialed in. I used to think I was pretty good at estimating the distance between my basket and me. I've discovered that I'm terrible at estimating distances. For example, I believe I'm 120-pounds when I throw. I was about to throw a hyzer onto the green from 130 yards away when I realized I was actually 90 yards away and should be jump putting. Or I mistakenly believe I'm 180 feet away when I'm actually 220 feet away. The shot is altered by the distance. br>br>I enjoy taking this to a baseball field and measuring out precise throw distances. When I understand what it takes to cover a certain distance, I am more confident in my ability to execute those throws on the course. This is one of those books that I can't recommend highly enough.
The slope is not taken into account! It's been about two weeks since I started using it. It makes caboosing the correct disc for distance a lot easier. On a longer putt, knowing your distance is also very useful. Simple to work with. This is a must have if you take this sport seriously, in my opinion. br>br>UPDATE: I'm not pleased with myself. They just released a new model that includes incline/decline for the same price, so I'm stuck with this one that only measures great minus (arc).
My disc golf bag would not be complete without the Bushnell 850. Distance measurements are simple and quick to perform. It's very easy to operate. My only gripe is that the reticle isn't perfectly aligned with the laser's actual position. The laser appears to be striking just below the reticle's point of impact. It can be difficult to tell what you're measuring because of this. If you have a low-cost option, It can give you a false reading if there are any low-lying bushes in the foreground, or if you aim too high and miss the target. There's a "scan" mode that lets you keep firing the laser and measuring while moving the reticle around. In perplexing situations, this is extremely useful. The reticle's precision isn't an issue on the course in most situations. It's used to figure out how far away the target is. It will undoubtedly save me some strokes on the golf course!.
This is an excellent Rangefinder that performs admirably; however, I gave it four stars because I believe it should have come with a case for the price.
My son received it as a gift. He is a professional disc golfer who enjoys using this rangefinder.
