Over the past few months, I have used this thing like crazy. You will notice the board when you are in the process of putting darts out always turns when you are hanging the cabinet and preparing to hang it. I suggest you put some double-sided adhesive tape on the bottoms of the feet that attach to the nails at the bottom of the board and it will stay nice and snug. With regards to durability, I think it's already showing some pretty heavy signs of use. The self-healing board material isn't the best, but what I do like about it is that it's 99. 9%. A few months ago I bought it for $00, and I've used it pretty much every night since then. It's a very nice cabinet that works well and does a great job. I bought a separate power adapter for the LED lights so I don't have to worry about batteries. The board that I'm using now will last me for a very long time with only light use, and I'll just buy another better quality board when I wear it out. If you use this board lightly, this will last you for 99 bucks. A beginner will certainly get their money's worth with this product.
The dartboard looks like a very nice addition to my family's game room, and I like the way it looks. The only thing that bothered me was a few things. 1
You can attach lights to the cabinet top if you want. This type of light can only be mounted after drilling a pilot hole. As it happens, I have a drill I would miss if I did not. 2.
In the cabinet itself, there was poor quality in the mounting hardware. When I became too tired to screw these into the drywall, two of the anchors broke. Home Depot had a bigger selection of sturdy mounting hardware, so I had to run there. They should just provide better hardware instead, which is annoying. I hate it. The purchase is well worth the investment and I am looking forward to playing darts in my game room for many,.
I purchased this to give as a gift, but it was damaged once it was opened by the person receiving it. We have now gotten to the point where we are forced to exchange the item as we still want it, but are Unfortunately, we could not fix the damage, but I am disappointed with the situation.
There are no serious issues with this case. Although the board is nice, the darts are mediocre, they are solidly constructed but the shafts are flimsy and brittle. It is true that most, if not all, darts included sets do not include a scorecard. I'm most disappointed in the laser throw line. If you are going to spend close to $100 on this, you would expect it to work properly. The on/off switch on the throw line broke as I was setting up the line. Initially, it flickered to life, but after that it ceased to work. There are others who have had the same problem as well. I gave this product a three-star rating overall because of the durability, but only a one-star rating for the sturdiness.
Although it was used and appeared to have a few cracks, extra parts that were already assembled, and non-high quality parts, along with mismatched screws, I chose not to return it since it was in fairly good condition considering how long it had been out Within less than 24 hours he was also at the door.
It is awful to sit on the board. Although the ends of the webbing have been stapled all the way around, they do not sit flush. There is no way for me to return this product so I will have to purchase another. Don't buy it.
