I don't have to worry about sliding on the laminate in my basement.
Yes, very much. I recommend that shoes not be worn with it. An entirely different type of foam pad is used by people who stand long periods of time, similar to those used by people to rest their feet.
Good morning nobs2day, it should work fine for you. There is a rubbery material that does not slide around and will lay flat after it sits for a day or two. It is perfect for me on the tile floor in which I use it. There might be a concern if it is located in a high-risk area An area of traffic (1/16 of a square mile or so) It is a bit thin (1/8 inch thick), but it is still a good

It wasn't to protect my carpet I bought these, it was simply to resolve the ridiculous appearance of the blue painter's tape I used to mark throw lines on the carpet. Due to the fact that they will be on carpet and not a smooth surface, I was hoping it would limit the amount of slipping Not at all. It might be necessary to attach velcro to the underside of the pants to keep them from sliding off. It might not be a good idea to choose these mats if you are looking for ones that protect your flooring. Throwing lines are a simple but effective way to mark them. It would be five stars if the underside were textured to prevent the feet from sliding so much.
My first impression of this product was how thin it was. If you purchase this, don't expect it to protect your floor under your dart board. On the plus side, it is good to have a mat on the floor instead of tape to indicate the throw line.
As for mine, I've got it on a carpeted floor, and it looks good, but the other reviewers are right - it's a good fence. In its current form, it does not stay in place. You must dunk with it continuously as soon as you step on it. It moves and gets crooked the moment you step on it. It is important for me to have As of yet, I am unsure what anchors will be used. That'll probably be a good non-alcoholic beverage for me You can put slip-resistant stuff under area rugs and see how it works.
As of right now, I am using the product for a few days and cannot say that it meets my As soon as I opened the product, I was a little apprehensive because it looked like an extremely thin foam, but at the time I thought it was probably a very strong foam though. Several minutes after I had played darts, one dart bounced off the board and onto the mat, easily ripping its way through, leaving a jagged knick in my hardwood floor. I say easily pierced, I mean it was like shooting a dart through Then, I tested the product with a series of "dart falls" with a piece of wood behind it, so as not to damage my floors in the process. that the dart would not penetrate the thin piece of foam was if it landed sideways, or if it was dropped from a high height. I find this product to be worthless, and it is As long as you do not stack four or five of them on top of each other, or if you use a heavy rug underneath, you will have many holes in your wood floors. The product you are about to buy is not recommended.
Keeping it from moving back and forth requires the use of tape, but obviously the tape does not work very well if the backside of the material had some tackiness to prevent it from moving all over you when you're done. Rolling it up would be better.
This texture has a nice look and feels good. Raised areas with padded edges work well for steel tip throw lines as well as soft tip throw lines. The carpet will move to the left over time and will use two-inch heels for the long term Tape is placed on the carpet to keep it in place. I will just take my foot from time to time and straighten it. It looks great in the room, and it can easily be rolled up if you don't want to have it in the room.
of the paper is just right. I'm not sure how thick others would have thought it should be but it is perfect. The mat helps protect the concrete floor from darts hitting it and sometimes the soft tip darts actually stick in it. Tips and shafts can be saved. Mat of the highest quality. It works great!.
seat is very comfortable and takes a lot of strain off the feet and knees, it is also very nice to stand on for the duration of a dart practice or a hr.
