Unfortunately, the package of this product is so disappointing. My kids have a family bingo game that they all love, so I figured it would be a nice gift for them. The box in which this game came from Regal Games was battered and tattered. Known as "frustration-free packaging", it eliminates the hassle of moving packages. I'm not frustrated, well not really. There seems to have been an assembly line approach to filling out the form. This is what I have to say, and I am hesitant to tell you what If I receive a refund, I will request one- An Amazon return has been made.
My deluxe kit arrived yesterday and I opened it up all giddy. I want to start a weekly Bingo Night event, so all of your lucky trolls get out lol. After reading the previous comments, I wanted to watch how visible the numbers on the bingo balls were, but my bingo balls looked great. Bright colors, everything checks out perfectly. There is no need to keep track of the balls and markers. They snap apart just like a sheet. The value is great - In the case of a separate purchase of each item, I have already calculated my savings. do not think this package can be beaten. One of the few decent items in the box is the metal cage. You must break them apart when you receive them because the chips are thin and attached together. The edges of the chips are jagged and sharp. There's also no good printing on the balls, which have a lot of numbers and letters. The balls roll out of the cage unevenly and fall all over the table and floor due to the sharp edges of the balls.
The set is for my mom, who is over 70 years old, and her friends. It was a good game even for my two sons (10 and 7) but the printing on the balls is awful. balls didn't have the digits fully stamped, so we would have to guess which digit it was (is it a 23 or a 28?). There are also some balls that have something written on one side and something written on the other, but another color ball would have the letter and number on the same side. I'm not sure why it would be inconsistent from set to set. This is a good set for four people who like to play together A deck of cards and lots of markers for 6 people. I'm not concerned with the content of the balls as much as the quality of the printing.
It is in excellent condition and appears to be fully functional. Due to their cheap nature, the balls break off the grid at points where they are not supposed to. We almost couldn't read our I30 ball because the writing on it had been rubbed off. We played with coins last time because our set didn't come with chips. When I place an order for 200 chips I placed for $6 with another seller, we'll use them. got ours off Amazon warehouse deals for 40% off the list price, so I will still be able to save some money even if I had to replace some chips. We fixed the issue with the balls falling off the cage ramp by holding a finger at the bottom as well. My bingo cards aren't as many as you might expect, but I'll print a few.
It was a bit more expensive than I would have liked to spend on a game, but the item is well made and is worth the price.
