Unless they are connected to a magnet, they do not stick to each other. If they are not being used with the magnet wand, they can be used as regular chips.

Despite the fact that it says 100 of each color and there are five colors, I only received less than 50 chips in each color.

As far as I'm concerned there were no negatives about this product and it was well worth the money. I used the product to play pokeeno, and the chips fit perfectly on.
