The entire color scheme is one. The way the light hits them causes the color to appear different since they are slightly translucent. The grandchildren can each have a set of their choice when it matters to them, so I bought them three sets in different colors.

There is metallic material around the edges of the chips, and the wand is magnetic, so I don't know where to find information about whether it's lead or BPA I hope that helps. If this is still of any help, children under age 6 are not recommended.
