Bowling ball of exceptional quality
5/5

After only a month of bowling, I became hooked and decided to invest in a nice reactive ball. This was my first bowling ball, and within a month of using it, I had set a new personal best score of 234. Without this ball, I'm not sure I'd have ever made it to the 200 club. I was averaging between 80 and 90 minutes per day. I was averaging 100 with house balls, but after switching to this ball, I was averaging 150-160. Within a month, I had reached 170, as well as my previous high of 234 points.

It was a pleasant surprise
5/5

This ball was delivered in perfect condition. I'd tried other balls before and liked them, but I couldn't believe how much control this ball gives me; I throw a stroker style curve and this ball breaks just at the right time; I went to league that night and bowled a 223 226 and 216; how's that for consistency? I would strongly suggest it. Don't be fooled if someone tells you this ball is made cheaply or that it's fine because they don't recognize the brand.

It was the first ball I ever played
4/5

I'm new to bowling and purchased this ball as my first to help me improve my hooking and wet-weather bowling skills. It performs exactly as described by the pyramid. br>br>It's possible that a higher polish will result in a better dry lane reaction. Overall, it was a fantastic ball, and I had my best game to date! br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: Because the item received was polished at a 1200 SIAA instead of the 1500 listed, I gave it four stars.

Exceptional Entry- Level the playing field! This was an excellent purchase for an entry-level ball (my first)
5/5

I had it custom-drilled to fit me perfectly, and while it took a few games to adjust to the new dynamics of the ball (and the various ways I can throw it to achieve different spin effects), I can honestly say I love it! The spin is predictable, I can throw it three different ways and achieve three distinct spin profiles, and my accuracy is improving to the point where I should be able to bowl over 200 again! I would highly recommend this ball to anyone interested in learning new bowling shots.

The ball has a great appearance
5/5

The ball is fantastic! Drilling should be done with caution - I recommend the "versatile" layout, which works well in any lane. This ball didn't have much hook, according to my local bowling shop, so I (foolishly) let them talk me into drilling it "dynamically" - I made a huge error, and now I have an excessive amount of hook on my hands; I'm having to re-write a lot of my work. To prepare for this, learn how I throw the ball. However, as a beginner ball, this ball will perform admirably.

This is my first success story with a ball
5/5

I'm a new bowler who has no idea what I'm doing but is eager to learn because I enjoy the sport and have recently joined a league. My boyfriend and I both got this exact same ball in different colors, and after a week, it's still bowling great for both of us. I had a 9-game streak going. 10 pound house balls, I got this in 11 pound and it's fantastic. He had a strike rate of 11 out of ten. He started with 12 house balls and a 13 pounder, which he also enjoys. I'd say, depending on what you want to do with it, work with your pro shop to get it properly drilled, and you'll have your first favorite bowling ball in no time. His has a solid sharp hook at the end that he is getting used to but enjoys, whereas mine has a more subtle arched hook that works well for me. Depending on my position, I can also throw it straight if necessary. Simply specify whether you want to hook or throw it straight to your pro shop. It's a subtle hook that's honestly perfect for learning, based on my first week of using it. In any case, it's LIGHTYEARS ahead of house balls, and it's so much better for my wrist, which I take special care of on a daily basis as a massage therapist.

For a great price, you get a great performance
5/5

For my girlfriend's first ball, I purchased this ball. I was hesitant to buy the purple/steel blue color because of the negative reviews, but my daughter really wanted it, and I'm happy with my Pyramid Antidote, so I went ahead and bought the 10 pounder. Ball showed up at my door three days later, and it turns out she likes the color, putting my only concern to rest. Even though it hadn't been drilled yet, I brought it to the lanes. I throw a 15-pound ball with a two-handed release at 375rpm and 13 mph, so I figured I could easily throw a ten without any holes. I grabbed it for a pin up CG flared out around board 5 and released towards the middle arrow. My buddies mocked me for using my girlfriend's ball, but they were the ones who got the last laugh! Path Rising's movement is smooth and consistent, and at $75, I'm considering adding one of these pearls to my collection!.

This is an excellent ball for beginners
5/5

Let me start by saying that you won't want to come here if you want a "standard" hook that rips from left to right to pocket. That said, most of you who are capable of bowling in that manner won't be looking here in the first place. This is an excellent ball for beginners or those who don't require a lot of hook but still want the weight and power of a hooking ball. Plastic balls and house balls will bounce off pins and are ideal for spares and children, but if you want to step up your game, you'll need something with more force - As a result, weighted balls or balls with a weighted center can be hooked. I've never been a fan of the standard shot, or going from left to right to pocket. It's just too reliant on oil conditions for my tastes. If a lane is oily, you'll need to align several entire arrows, usually 20 or more. There are 30 boards total. You'll want to be close to the center for this ball. br>br> Is it not working for you? Continue to the right. Is there an excessive amount of hook in this? Further to the left. However, you'll only be able to work in that 5-minute window. There are 15 boards in total. This ball is also one of my favorites because of its versatility - it can be used for a variety of purposes. As in, unless you perfect your wrist motion, you won't be able to pick up spares. For the 10 pin, I still give a little hook, but not enough to negate my shot unless I'm not trying hard enough. That appeals to me. br>br>Overall, this is a ball that does exactly what I need it to. Just make sure you know what you want it to do before you buy it, and you'll be fine.
