These shoes are similar to a standard tennis shoe in terms of wear. They do have some give to them, similar to a regular shoe. I'd give it a 7 out of 10. 5 if they're available in half-sizes.
I can't say they're as smooth as deerskin, but they do slide well.
The same thing happened to me. They didn't call it "return shipping," though; instead, they called it a restocking fee. When I purchased mine, there was no mention of this charge.
Hi Lynn, It's not easy to remove, but I was able to get my finger under it and pull the pad up if I needed to insert a shoe insert. I hope this helps. Footwear is fantastic.

Shoes that are actually quite cute. The sizing seemed a little small; I wear a 7 and ordered a 7, which was a little tight at first but may have loosen up after use. I returned them because the stitching across the top of the toe rubbed against my feet and made them uncomfortable. I've never had the opportunity to try them out, so I can't say how well they work. The slide's sole appeared to be quite solid. I expected the insoles to be more cushioned, like the ones in my sister's Dexter Rachel IV, but they were not. In general, it's a good shoe, but it's not right for my feet. The fact that Amazon is charging me $7 is a bit concerning. 77 for return shipping, despite the fact that it says "Sold by and Shipped from Amazon. " " If I have to pay to return something that doesn't work for me, I might reconsider renewing my $119 membership fee. ".
I bought these about a month ago and have already worn them a few times. They are extremely comfortable, as stated in other reviews. I'd even say they're unusually comfortable, and I can wear them for hours without getting tired of them; they're also attractive, and I like the black and turquoise combination. I have a wide foot, and these shoes fit perfectly; however, I disagree with those who recommend sizing up. I'm a 7. I usually wear a size 5 shoe, but I ordered a size 8 because I was worried they would be too small. They are excessively large. A 7. The number 5 would have been far more appropriate. I recommend ordering in your correct size - It still runs normally when wearing thicker socks. I've never worn another bowling shoe to compare it to, but I'm confident that if I needed another pair, I'd buy these.
5 is the perfect number! My usual shoe size is a 7 or 7. Shoes are a 5 out of 5, and they were ordered based on other reviews. The rental sizes at the bowling alley tend to be large, and I usually end up in a women's 6. These bowling shoes are the same size as my regular sneaker size. br>They are attractive and well-made. I anticipate that they will serve me well for a long time. br>I am less qualified to comment on the technical aspects of the shoes. I'm not a particularly good bowler, but I wanted to put money into a low-cost option. I'd like to get some bowling shoes so I don't have to rent them anymore. My feet aren't going to change size anytime soon, and they'll help me save money in the long run.
After reading a lot of reviews on a variety of brands, I decided to take a chance and order them online. The color is beautiful, and the shoe fits true to size. They're very comfortable, and I like bowling in them. I'm able to concentrate on bowling rather than my shoes now.
These bowling shoes are ideal for me because they are supportive but not too stiff. They've got a non-slip pad. replaceable) on both shoes, allowing for some but not excessive slide. They're also very cute, and don't resemble bowling shoes at all. Just a heads up, they're quite narrow, so if you have wide feet, stay away.
So far, I'm liking them. It was the only time I wore them. I thought they were way too big at first, but they fit perfectly after I tightened the laces (much more than I usually do). I'm not sure if it's because of the alley where I bowl, but I have a hard time sliding. To be fair, the previous pair (of a different brand) were similar. I simply purchase the fitted items that are worn over your sliding foot and this solves the issue. I'm also a fan of the color.
Before making a purchase, I read a lot of reviews. My old shoes had finally given up the ghost, and I figured the Dexter brand would be a good fit. br>I used to wear size 7 shoes. 5 out of 5 stars for fit. For bowling, I'd rather have shoes that are too small than shoes that are too big. So, just in case, I purchased these at a 7. They were still a size or two too large. As a result, they're quite big. I just wanted to make sure that everyone was aware of what was going on. They don't let you get away with anything, either. br> They stop you on a dime, and I felt like I was falling over most of the time. br>Finally, after three games, the felt bottom was DESTROYED. They've only been worn once and have been returned. I'm not sure if mine was faulty, but it's not something I'd recommend.
They're true to size, and while I didn't improve my bowling score because I finally had my own shoes-- They didn't bother me in the least because they were extremely comfortable right away. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that when I put them on, the back of the right shoe folds inward and I have to work it back out to make it flat. br>br>Understated in appearance but still appealing.
