Questions & Answers
They are most likely sold out of those sizes right now.
Yes. I believe they run a little large, as my grandson now wears a size 5 in sneakers, but these still fit him.
The best option is to take your son bowling and have him try on the shoes there, then purchase a half-size larger shoe. When compared to regular shoes, the sizes are odd.
The 5 will be too small, so you should get a men's size.

These are some nice children's bowling shoes. They appear to be well-made and made of high-quality materials. My 7-year-old usually wears a size 2 street shoe, so I purchased these in that size as well. I expected them to run large based on other reviews, which was exactly what I wanted so he could grow. They're about 1/2-inch thick, as expected. He needed a size up from his regular sneakers. He doesn't seem to mind wearing them, and he doesn't seem to need any thicker socks. He's only bowled one game so far. He's played two games about five or six times since buying them about two months ago, and he's never complained about them bothering him. I like that they're a neutral color so he can pass them down to his younger brother and sister in the future, and I'm hoping we'll use them a lot. Despite the felt pad on the bottom (typical of bowling shoes), he traction appears to be good, and they are not too slippery, which is good because the lightest bowling ball our alley has is 6 pounds, and he clearly struggles to carry and throw the ball. The laces also stay tied and don't come undone easily, which is convenient because we don't have to re-tie them every time we put them on. He'll have to tie them. br>br>The price of the shoes on Amazon was just right, and it was very comparable to the price of youth-sized bowling shoes on other websites. Plus, they come with free returns and Prime shipping, so it's hard to go wrong.
These are good bowling shoes for beginners, and the best part is that you won't have to wear shoes that have already been worn by a lot of people. I gave them four stars, however, because they run large and are not true to size; we made them work by having him wear thick socks, but it would have been nice if they fit properly and as expected.
House rental shoes irritate me greatly. It's just disgusting! So I bought these bowling shoes in the hopes that they would last through the summer league at the very least. They've lasted a lot longer than I expected after being used at least twice a week. Buying these instead of renting shoes each week was much more sanitary and less expensive. For a youth bowler on a budget, this is a good buy.
In regular shoes, my son is a size 6. We ordered a 5 based on reviews, but they were at least a half size larger than his regular size 6 shoes when they arrived! There's no way this is going to work out for him anytime soon. We can't exchange them for a different size on Amazon, so we have no choice but to return them for a partial refund. This purchase has left me feeling a little down. Boys' bowling shoes are extremely difficult to come by.
These shoes are comfortable and exactly as described, so I bought two pairs for my sons. The shoe laces are my only gripe with them. They are of poor quality and have already broken apart, despite the fact that they have only been used a few times. I'll have to purchase laces for both pairs of shoes now.
When we go bowling, my sons wears these instead of renting shoes. They're very nice and resemble regular shoes in appearance. They do run large, as my 8-year-old son normally wears a size 2 in other shoes and these are too big for him.
The shoe size is accurate, and it's well-made.
These were purchased for our 5-year-old son. They're a little large, but that's why we bought them. They appear to be well made and come as pictured, so we should be able to enjoy them for a few years without having to purchase a new one. This is an excellent item.
