Make sure you get help if you don't know how to install. I was able to use it with my 1991 pool table without any problems. The size is standard for most pool tables, so I am sure to fit yours as well. I think this is a great product for its price, and it is definitely a do-it-yourself project.
This is a great replacement for a standard pocketed pool table. They fit a standard pool table perfectly.
Since you didn't tell me where you were measuring 8", I cannot tell you. The size of my table is 4 1/2 x 9' and it is custom made for me. The pockets on this set of slate pool tables will fit most

As far as I could see, there were cracks. The quality of the picture is terribly bad. Upon closer inspection, I see what I initially thought were cracks in the leather, but later appear to be razor cuts. They were arranged in the box quite tightly, so the pockets were a bit crushed, but I suppose this wouldn't matter as leather won't curl. Eventually they hung somewhat straight, but the black stain cracked where they had been bent, so now I have little brown cracks along the tops of the pockets. There are also inconsistencies in the irons on which the pocket is attached. There were at least five degrees in one of the side pockets. My new boots have a bend on one side. I wish I had examined them more closely as soon as I got them, I would have returned them immediately. The time had passed by the time I had installed them and I could not When I get my new set, I will throw these in the garbage.
These just came out of the box and I have no idea how low the quality is! All the corners are crooked, and there is a crooked pocket on one side. The seams on my shirt have already unraveled. There aren't really any deals on these for $59 either. A $10 bill was paid by me. BUY THIS ITEM AT YOUR OWN RISK! This is garbage!.
I still need to condition them to soften them up further.
This is a bit more expensive than the Fake PU leather, but given that it is real leather and not plastic, it provides a good value. I was very happy with how everything fit together.
A crooked corner pocket post sticks out from the bag. The rails are angled up and are pushed up when the screws are pushed into the rails. This results in the rails being unable to be secured to the table since a tremendous amount of strain is placed on them. Although I purchased them eight months ago, I did not have a chance to install them until now.
I was surprised by the quality of the leather pockets and how individual they were. This was exactly what I wanted at an excellent price. I am thrilled with how they turned out. My pool table looks so good with this.
However, they had to be installed by a professional. Several tables are alike, but none are the same.
