PoolDawg is a great place to visit. com (my go-to website) to pool players), look for "Silver Cup" chalk, then look for pool table chalks. Silver Cup sells a full range of cue tip chalk colors, including a "Tan" chalk. (I personally use "Master" burgundy chalk on my table.) That could be a better option than grey for your needs. If you're looking for another brand of cue chalk, check out PoolDawg's selection and see which one best matches your table. I hope this information is useful.

Because there aren't many companies that make Black Pool Chalk, I was pleased to discover that Master Chalk had boxes of 24 pieces of chalk on Amazon. A year and a half ago, I purchased a pool table and decided to cover it with Black Simonis Carom cloth. I didn't realize I was out of black chalk until recently. Fortunately, a quick search on Amazon led me to this fantastic Master Chalk deal. I purchased two boxes and am very pleased with the outcome.
To me, Master's chalk is always a good chalk. It has a good grip on the tip. Because I use red, I make it a point to tap off any excess at nearly all pool halls and bars. Will undoubtedly stain any table, but you'll always be able to distinguish your belongings from those of others.
Although I was unable to use it, it is an amazing chalk. Thanks to the seller for his prompt assistance and excellent customer service.
This chalk is absolutely awful. It always left a gummy film on my pool cue, which didn't happen with other chalk. My pool cue was always getting cleaned and burnished. The problem went away once I stopped using it. The chalk appeared to be much grainier than the Silver Cup chalk I had been using and will now return to.
It's easy to match the color of the chalk to the color of the cloth because it's made of good chalk.
My local pool hall uses the same brand, which has excellent consistency and grip. When everything else at the table is used up and nasty, I can make sure I always have some.
