How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
ROKU was created by attempting to achieve the best particle balance while reducing the number of ingredients used. It allows players to have more precise control over their shots.
Grip power: The precise proportions of the chalk particles are delicately regulated in order to create a larger sweet spot. The potential of Kamui tips is maximized with this enhancement.
Adhesion: Because of the unique ingredients, it's simple to apply the right amount to the tip.
By removing the air from the chalk, it achieves a high density and solidity. It has a high adhesion and is easy to chalk, so it won't wear off.
Produced in Japan

Questions & Answers

Is it possible for it to dry?

I thought it was too dry at first, but once I got past the top layer, I discovered a good quality chalk. The cue tip has a nice coat on it. Continue to store it in a sealed plastic bag and keep an eye on it. My gun was taken while I was shooting at a tournament.

Roku 6 has been a letdown
3/5

I enjoy using Kamui products (chalk, tips, and shapers) and will continue to do so in the future. All Kamui products have always been overpriced, but they all have a design elegance and performance level that appeals to me and justifies the price. Call me a snob, but I think they're all worth it. You, too? The price of the first piece of Kamui 0 surprised me quite a bit. I bought it years ago, but it's been my one-and-only ever since. Since then, it's been all chalk. The 0. The number 98 is associated with clay. When applying, you should have a similar sensation. It has the sensation of "smearing" on (you know what I'm talking about), which is why it comes in an airtight container. container with a tight seal It DOES feel "wetter" than regular chalk. According to the hype, Roku 6 was supposed to be the culmination of their previous "beta" chalks (including 0. ) of research and development. 98). I put my money down for a chance to find out, and I was hoping for the best. Not so. Roku 6 is a typical piece of chalk. That's how it goes. Dry. Use it a lot. "As usual," for example. According to one review, it should be used for a long time (paraphrase: as if attempting to break through a dry outer crust (This is correct). After three weeks of intense practice, the chalk is still as dry as it was on Day 1. Typical. Usual. The goal of a $30 piece of chalk cannot possibly be cleanliness, according to the reviews below that mention it. To be honest, I don't give a damn if there's a cloud of chalk dust billowing in the room and I have to shower after every game. I want to see what's going on with the cue ball, where it's going, and how it's going to happen, with as little chance of miscuing as possible, and that's what chalk is for. So, to sum it up. 0 should be kept. Kamui, 98 is on the way. It's still your best-selling chalk, and I'll be sticking with it. It'd be fantastic to see it in hexagonal form. As for Roku 6, package it in 5-packs and sell each tube for TEN BUCKS, just like your scary feline competitor who shall remain nameless. Roku 6 isn't any worse than that product, and it's certainly not any better, based on my personal experience. Typical. Usual. What's the big difference here? The price per piece is 15 TIMES the original price. This time, Kamui, you're not getting away with such a high price. I'm hoping I'll be able to save a few dollars for others. Look forward to seeing you at the tables.

I can't believe I've been waiting for so long! This chalk exceeded all of my expectations for a pool cue chalk! I put off buying this for a while because of a) the price, b) a YouTube video I saw by Dr
5/5

DaveBilliard that made me worried about the Kamui chalk producing more cling, and c) the color of this chalk is very different from the color of my table cloth, which can make it look messy. I recently switched to a Predator carbon shaft and noticed that my bridge hand is getting covered in chalk much faster than before, possibly because the carbon shaft does not hold on to any of the chalk residues, so they all end up on my hand, as well as my table. I chose a cube of Kamui Roku Chalk to experiment with. I've only played six racks with the new chalk so far, but it's so much better than I anticipated that I feel compelled to sit down and write this review. None of my three initial worries turned out to be true. In six racks, I've only chalked three times! I waited until I made a mistake after my initial application, which took three racks. OK, it may not last as long as a gross (144) of regular cue chalk, but this one cube will last me a long time; there is very little chalk on my table, very little chalk on the cue ball, and no chalk on my bridge hand; cling has not been an issue, especially if you clean your cue ball once in a while. And after six racks, I barely need to clean my table. In addition, cleaning the cue ball is much easier. I'm guessing that this will extend the life of my Simonis cloth because it will require much less brushing and cleaning. Most importantly, the chalk adheres to the cue ball well during the stroke, allowing me to maintain much better control and consistent spin! I can't believe such a small piece of chalk can make such a big difference! It comes highly recommended! br>br>UPDATE: br>br> br>I've been using this chalk every day for a few weeks now, and I'm feeling compelled to write an update. This chalk is one of my favorites. No, I think I like this chalk even more than I thought I did. First, I learn that, unlike its predecessor, this ROKU should be used like a regular piece of chalk, which means that it should be applied frequently or before each shot. I find that applying it every few shots, or before each shot where I intend to use heavy English, is enough. This chalk allows me to use a lot more English on the ball while also keeping it cleaner. After every rack, the cue ball would have a lot of chalk marks on it. The cue ball is kept spotless when using ROKU. To get a completely clean cue ball, all I have to do is rub my hands on it a couple of times. My table is also much cleaner and needs to be cleaned much less frequently. I use the Simonis X-Clean when I need to clean the Simonis cloth. 1 cleaning cloth with a felt-like material on the bottom. I suppose what makes this chalk stick to the cue tip and cue ball so well also makes it stick to the X-ray machine so well. 1 cleaning felt, which can be gently rubbed over the table to pick up any small chalk marks. br>br>When I first saw this chalk, I thought to myself, "$30 for a single piece of chalk?" "Now, if I had to, I'd buy it once a month. " Fortunately, even when used frequently, this chalk appears to last forever, so it will last me several months. Because I clean my table cloth less frequently and with less harsh chemicals, it will last much longer. Furthermore, I discover that I can purchase this chalk directly from Kamui for $25 plus shipping. It's a foregone conclusion. Try it!.

A significant sum of money was spent on chalk
4/5

Is it a good investment? Very nice chalk that goes on smoothly, covers well, and shows almost no signs of wear after several games. br>I don't believe the chalk adds anything to the amount of English that can be applied, but it does leave a much smaller mark on the cue ball than previous Kamui chalks. br>I like the chalk and believe it will last a long time, so as long as you don't lose it, it's probably not a bad investment; however, don't expect miracles.

You can't go wrong with this chalk
5/5

I've experimented with a variety of chalk brands, ranging from Master to Predator to Triangle and everything in between, but this chalk is exactly what it claims to be. Overall, I use a lot less chalk, it leaves almost no residue on the cueball or the furrel, and it gives me a better grip on the cueball. Although it costs more than a few packs of other brands, it is the best chalk available.

The value of the chalk is debatable
3/5

Although it has a finer grain than competitors, it does not appear to do everything it claims. Chalk transfer is still happening, but it's not as bad as predator. I've noticed a couple of errors that aren't typical of me, but I'm not sure I can entirely blame the chalk. It appears to be a decent chalk, but I'm not sure it's worth the money. I've been playing for 25 years, so I've hit a few balls.

Cue dust isn't left on the table when using this
5/5

It's designed for professionals. Chalk of the highest quality I frequently purchase this chalk for my father in Canada, who is an avid pool player who only uses this type. He's tried a lot of different brands, from what the pros use to everything else, and by far Kamui Roku is the best! I like how quickly it arrives when I order it.

I play every day, mostly for practice, and I've been using the same piece of chalk for over eight months, and there's still plenty left
5/5

Also, there isn't much chalk dust to clean off the felt, and it works great with my Kamui clear soft tip.
