In terms of size, these aren't standard. 2-inch pucks are the standard size. These are 2-inch diameter, 5/16" diameter, 5/16" diameter, 5/16" diameter, 5/16" diameter Diameter of 1/8" There isn't much of a difference, but shuffleboard fans will notice it. These pucks were purchased for a small 9' travel table that I built, and that is where I would recommend them. They look great on the small table and are a great value for the money.

Diameter is 1 1/2". I'm not sure where to begin in this situation. The first thing that comes to mind is that this is the most blatant example of false advertising that I have ever seen. I guess I'll start with the two most blatantly obvious lies: NOPE, it's not the right size. These are much smaller than advertised; they are NOT 2 1/8", but rather a miniature puck that is closer to 1 1/4". 1 1/2" in diameter (which, to be honest, are probably better for my homemade 9' table than the larger pucks), but that doesn't excuse the fact that they flat out lied. Edge with a bevel- NOPE. The edges are as straight as an arrow, and instead of gliding over the powdered wax, these turds bulldoze everything in their path as if that's what they were made to do. They occasionally glide smoothly over the wax and play as intended, but the majority of the time they leave a long, unsightly track that ruins the game. The case is a flimsy, poorly constructed hunk of junk that will most likely break if you try to carry it by the handle. That's the bad stuff, and if I had to give it a grade based solely on those characteristics, I'd give it a -. They do, however, possess a few redeeming characteristics: br>br>The smaller size of the pucks is ideal for a shuffleboard table like mine (9-foot). They are 10' in length and are actually quite well built, evenly weighted, and of reasonable quality. They shipped quickly (it's the only thing they do quickly; the bulldozing feature causes them to stop dead in the middle of the board). I kept them in the end because I was able to get them to work reasonably well after some minor alterations (adding my own bevel with some sanding/polishing) and fine-tuning my silicone spray to powder wax ratio. The smaller size, which works better than regulation size on my smaller table and makes for a more challenging game, is the most redeeming feature, and it was also the one I was most disappointed with when I first opened the box. However, this does not compensate for outright lies and false advertising. Blue Wave Products Inc. is not cool.
It's a lovely table, and after a few days, I was about to return it. The sand (wax) would clump together. I'd throw the weight, and it'd fall to the ground and plow the field. I experimented with various waxes (I now have eight different cans), as well as silicon sprays and wax. Nothing was going to stop it. After attempting everything else, I decided to give these weights a shot. During the game, my wife claimed I was giddy with delight. The field had not been plowed by a single weight. FINALLY, I was able to participate in the game. The wooden case is an added bonus. My kids aren't old enough to play alone yet, so after we've finished, I put them in the case and raise the weights.
We needed a second set of pucks to play as a team. These aren't as nice as our other ones, but they're great for kids and work well for team play. I'll buy these again if I ever need another set for everyday play with the kids. The case is also useful for storing the extra sets when they are not in use.
My missing puck may have ended up in the backpack of one of my daughter's friends, so here I am writing this review. These pucks are just as good as the ones that came with my shuffleboard table when it was new, so I'm glad to have everything back in working order. I hope I won't need them, but if I do, I'll buy them again.
These aren't regulation pucks, but they look nice on the screen. They are, in fact, more compact. These were returned in exchange for a "proper" set.
I'm not happy because they're not the right size. They're nicely packaged and displayed, but they're not the right size for me.
I purchased these under the impression that they were regulation size, but they are not. These are tiny pucks that you won't want if you're not used to them. RETURN. It would have helped if there had been a better description.
