Clean lines, meticulous attention to detail, and ease of maintenance. It's the ideal height and size, and it's sure to be a hit with the crowd. Unfortunately, the aluminum hinges on both sides snapped after folding and opening the table twice. I sent an email to P and P Imports- Kayley asked for photos of the damage and a receipt of purchase from the company that makes this table. She promptly sent me a brand new table, free of charge, after I sent these to her. Amazing company and customer service; she informed me that the company is aware of the problem and is working to replace the hinges with stronger ones. This table was purchased to replace one that had been damaged by liquid seeping in through the table's sides. This table is more durable and held up well in light play, but it was damaged as soon as I put together a tournament. If you leave any liquid on it for an extended period of time, it will absorb water and become ruined. I was going to give the table two stars, but when I emailed Go Pong about it, they were extremely helpful and promptly sent me a replacement table at no cost. The table earns another couple of stars from me due to the excellent customer service. I'm just hoping the new table lasts as long as the old one did.
That concludes the discussion. I gave five stars because, despite receiving a used, broken table, I was promptly replaced with a new one within two days. Also, the people who work for the company that produces these are so nice and caring. I strongly advise you to purchase this book. I ultimately decided to use stickers to decorate my table. Just keep in mind that it is not heavy, and it only folds in half to make it about 4 feet long when carried (thank goodness there are handles on one side). It's simple to set up and take down. It also comes with a set of 6 ping pong balls.
The table appears to be wonderful! Until I realized there was a problem with this part. They are sending a replacement after I sent an email. As a result, I am grateful for the customer service. br>br>I've only used it once and haven't noticed any problems; I'll try it again today and see if there are any other issues.
This is a genuine testimonial: br>The table is of poor quality. After testing the opening table, I went to close it and discovered that the hinges are made of plastic. Within the first 10 minutes of ownership, one bent in and was warped, with small pieces snapped off. I handled the situation with caution and am not a moron. I feel like I could rip right through the table top. Furthermore, the ping pong balls bounce very little off the plastic-like top. The center legs do not strike the ground evenly, and the table bends up in the middle, resulting in a surface that is shaped like this symbol (not flat). Overall, I would not have purchased if I had known the quality ahead of time. It's better to go to Home Depot and spend $10 on a piece of flat wood to prop up and play on, which you can custom paint and bounce balls on. This is a complete waste of time. I'm afraid the hinges will break after the first use, so I'll probably have to return it.
That is a magnificent table. I looked at a few different options, but this one received the most positive feedback. I can't believe some of the others aren't water resistant! It's a pong game with beer! It's going to rain! Buy this. You will not be sorry. I'm 5'2" and it's the perfect size for me to play. I was a little concerned about the height, but it's fine. It was a wonderful birthday present for my husband, who loved it as much as the rest of the guests.
A good pong table with good pong balls, not the cheap flimsy ones from Walmart or the dollar store. It's a big table, but it's built to last twice as long as other tables. On this, we played card games where you slap the deck and it doesn't move at all. Those whose tables' finishes have worn off or become damaged should clean them with spray after each use, and they will look brand new the next time they are used. You're going to have a bad time if you leave it outside in the elements or leave beer on it all weekend; if you're wondering if it can support some weight, my 240-pound friend slept on it all night for some reason, and it held up just fine.
It's a very sturdy table, and I'm pleased with it in every way; I'd only warn you to be wary of the height! Although 36 inches is the minimum height for beer pong, this table is much taller than traditional fold out tables or ping pong tables I've used in the past; if you want a table that looks like a fold out table or ping pong table, I'd recommend the 24 inch option.
