Questions & Answers

Is it possible to fit a passport book inside?

If you don't mind it being loose, a US passport will fit inside the zippered compartment, but not in either of the interior pockets.

Is it possible to use this molle with this bag?

No, it's not the case. PALS webbing is found on the back of all of the larger Maxpedition organizers, but not the Micro. If MOLLE compatibility is required, the slightly larger Mini will suffice.

Will it hold a zippo lighter, a Surefire E2D light, and a small barlow pocket knife while fitting comfortably into a front jeans pocket?

Not in a comfortable way, I'd say. I carry nearly identical gear to you, but with the addition of a leatherman wingman and a small notepad and pencil, I'm not sure I'll be able to fit it all in my jean pockets. I believe your E2D is a little too long to easily zip. From an E1L to a smaller keychain light, I made the switch. The zippo and the knife will get along swimmingly. Since then, I've added a second shield mag and a small first-aid kit. Overall, the quality is good, but the dimensions do not indicate that it is as compact as one might expect.

Made in the United States, according to the description. Isn't that the case?

"American design" and "Made in Taiwan" are written on the tag.

Selected User Reviews For Maxpedition Micro Pocket Organizer

I was afraid I'd get one of the "fake" versions from Vietnam instead of Taiwan after reading a lot of the reviews, and I did get one of the ones that says "Made in Vietnam" and doesn't say "Hard Use" (or whatever) on the front tag

br>However, despite not having any other Maxpedition products to compare it to, I have to say that this is excellent in my opinion. It appears to be tough and reliable. All of the stitching is neat, even, and straight. (In some of the "official" photos I've seen, the inside straps are cockeyed or askew!) ) And, unless the stamping is a forgery, the zipper is still a YKK (as seen in the photo). The product tags that came with it (such as a "Scotchguard" featured tag) all appear to be normal and fine, so I believe Maxpedition has simply switched production locations or something, and this is just as "real" as any other. Even if it isn't, the quality is excellent in my opinion, and I am content with it. br>br>So, my main concern with purchasing an EDC pouch is how to carry it. Because of the MOLLE on the back, I seriously considered the Mini rather than the Micro. But, if I'm being honest, I'll never wear it on my belt, and if I want to take it with me in my larger knapsack, I'll just stuff it in a pocket and skip the strapping on the outside, so the Micro's smaller profile won out. br>br>That said, it fits perfectly in my cargo pockets right now with what I have in it, but it's a little heavy. It also fits in my jean pockets, but the large bulge it creates on my hip is unattractive. It will also fit in the inside pocket of my jacket. br>br>What I have in it is exactly as shown, and it's the perfect EDC for me. (It's not a GBH tote!) However, if I tried to add anything else, it might work. Oh, and I took a seam-stressing class as well. Maxpedition tag ripper on the outside. It is a personal choice. In my opinion, it appears to be better.

Diabetic testing supplies have never been easier to come by! My glucose levels are checked using a One Touch Verio Reflect
5/5

Because the original case was large and bulky, I decided to go a different route. The Maxpedition Micro Pocket Organizer is an excellent example of this. When I'm not at home, it holds my meter, strip tube, lancet device, 50 lancets, alcohol wipes, and a small ziploc for used strips/lancets. br>br>I did replace the paracord zipper with a lime green one that was shorter and had a plastic clip end. For me, it's simply more convenient to zip. Because this pouch is too small for a meter and insulin pens, you'll need to upgrade to a mini at the very least. If you have enough room, go ahead and do it. Choose the EDC size because you'll have more room to move things around and it will close much more easily! br>br>This will fit in an empty sweatpants pocket, not a skinny jeans pocket, and it will last all day in a cargo pocket. YES to a hoodie and a jacket! br>br>This organizer can be customized to your liking, but I chose to keep it simple and use it for my testing supplies on a daily basis. Who knows, this could be the answer to your meter storage problem! br>br>I hope my feedback is useful. Keep yourself safe in the wild.

This is an excellent piece of equipment! I bought this organizer with the intention of using it as a wallet to store some of my electronic devices

If you don't overfill it, it'll work fine in that capacity, but let's be honest. You'll fill it to the brim. br>br>I can still fit this organizer in most pockets, but I don't like the bulge it causes. Rather, I keep it in an easily accessible pocket of my edc bag. My pockets are now free and happy, and I can still get to everything I had in them quickly. Review that is completely honest
5/5

I was surprised to see so many negative comments after reading through several comments and viewing several photos. According to the photos, many people received various types of pocket organizers, some of which appear to be fake and others which appear to be genuine. My experience with this pouch has been extremely positive; I don't hold back when it comes to stuffing my pocket organizer; I've stuffed it until the material no longer stretches and the pouch is holding up beautifully; there are no loose threads, rips, or tears, and the zipper isn't having any issues closing the pouch at all. To be honest, I think this is a pretty useful pouch. As long as you know how much you can carry, you'll be fine with just the essentials. Please feel free to use my photographs as a guide to determining how much weight you can carry. My setup consists of what you see in the photos; the only thing that comes out of the pouch is my CRKT DRIFTER, which I pull out every day and stick to my waist band; everything else remains in the pouch, waiting to be used.
