I am a high-achieving individual. end plate carrier (Mayflower/Velocity Systems), but I wanted to be able to move my placard to a chest harness when carrying my plates wasn't practical or necessary. I'll be taking a carbine class at Gunsite this summer, and the idea of wearing a plate carrier all day in the scorching Arizona sun did not appeal to me. I only need a few extra mags to supplement what I have on my war belt, so the One Tigris solution was ideal. The Mayflower RC/Velocity Systems SwiftClip placard fits perfectly, with perhaps 1/2" of Velcro exposed on the sides due to the placard's width of about an inch. Also, the clips for attaching your placard are not included with the harness; you will need to provide your own female clips. Simply purchase the type that is used to repair buckles and thread it through the loops. The chest rig was a perfect fit right out of the box, with only minor adjustments required. I'm so glad I didn't have to buy a full chest rig with ammo pouches!.
This was an excellent purchase. Very sturdy and well-made. br>I'm using it as the foundation for a Mayflower placard; OneTigris is the only affordable option on the market. Anything else will set you back $100 for a set of straps and a loop panel.
I needed a chest rig for tactical training so that I could transfer an existing placard from a plate carrier to it. I was blown away by how well it was put together. When you see it in person, you'll notice how strong it is. The clips are made by Duraflex, the same company that made my pricey placard, and the material appears to be of similar quality. The quality of this chest rig has really impressed me. I understand it's designed for air soft, but let's hope it'll hold up in the real world as well.
The material is about the same thickness as Tactical Tailor fight lite, but not quite as good. 56 mags fit loosely (usgi and magpul). Mags are difficult to insert, so you won't be able to train for time with them. I tried kydex inserts and they worked, but they moved around a little. Repeated use of the material is unlikely. Velcro had a lot of tenacity to it. I was hoping for more for $35. Spend $55 and you'll get a much higher-quality placard made in the United States.
This is an incredible setup. I was able to install my rifle mag panel as well as a medical kit. For the money, this is a fantastic product. That's a deal you can't pass up. Very good purchase.
I thought it was great, but it was a little too small for my needs. I returned it with no problems and received a new chest rig, so everything is fine! Overall, I was pleased with the item and the service I received.
Good quality and a good price.
For a placard, there is no swift clip attachment.
