Questions & Answers

Will a normal-sized person be able to wear this (snugly)? I'm 6 feet tall and weigh 200 pounds. It appears to be too big, according to a number of comments. ?

This should fit you unless you're very small (under 5'/120 lbs). It can range in size from tiny to enormous. I'm 6'3" and 300 pounds, and it fits me perfectly. My daughter, who is 5'6" and 125 pounds, wears one.

Will this adjust out that far for me? I'm 6'2" and around 300 pounds, and I usually wear a 3xl. ?

I don't think you'd have any issues with it! I'm 240 pounds, 5'11" tall, and have a barrel chest, so I've got it dialed in!

Is this going to work with M1A magazines?

It's possible that this won't fit in your magazine rack.

Amazing, versatile, and fits my 6'4", 300 pound frame
5/5

I'm built like a typical bad guy from the 1980s. I'm 6'4" with a 60-inch chest and biceps that make me want to arm wrestle bears in the winter. I'm not Mr. Universe, but I'm also not a pipsqueak. It took me a long time to find a tactical bug out vest that was comfortable, fit me well, and wasn't a complete joke, so I went to a lot of tactical stores until I found this one. It's easy to adjust and comfortable. It has a lot of extra MOLLE pockets and enough room for everything I need when I need it. I can put this on and jog around with a full tac loadout knowing that nothing will fall out, that a stray strap will not snag on a branch and rip, or that a strap will not tug on a firearm's trigger. I'm also confident that nothing will jangle, jingle, or reveal my position. And it's relaxing. br>br> I can put it on and forget I'm wearing it when I'm at my desk. This will be my go-to recipe in the future. to, and it's a rig that I would recommend to anyone. br>br>I wish I'd known about this carrier a long time ago. 10 thumbs up and 5 stars- This is where it gets interesting.

Condor produces high-quality tactical gear
5/5

Two of these are in my possession. I spent eight months in Afghanistan with this coyote brown. It performed admirably, and I've had no problems with it. Simply put, this is a fantastic, low-cost, and practical way to carry 6 magazines for your rifle and pistol at the same time. I used it for shooting drills when I was training at the old BlackWater site, and it never failed me. I would typically wear this over my body armor or just over my jacket or shirt, and I have two pouches on each side for miscellaneous gear or tourniquets. I added a knife to one of the straps on the rig, and I have two pouches on each side for miscellaneous gear or tourniquets. I used the rig to carry 6 mags x 30 rounds for my M4 and 6 mags x 13 rounds for my Sig 9mm P229, for a total of 258 rounds with my kit, plus 1 mag in my AR and 1 mag in my Sig on my duty belt, for a total of 301 rounds. You can carry your pistol magazines on your duty belt instead of the Condor rig, or you can carry them on the rig and not on a duty belt, or you can choose not to use a duty belt at all. Alternatively, you could carry six 13-round mags on your duty belt and rig, add 78 rounds to the above figures, and have a total of 156 rounds of 9mm on you to provide ammo to your battle buddies who are stupid and only bring 2/3 mags on their kits thinking, " I'm pretty much dead if I ever get into a firefight and need more than three magazines of anything. "DO NOT BE THAT GUY!" IN MY OPINION, IT IS BETTER TO BRING MORE AMMON THAN YOU NEED THAN TO NOT HAVE ENOUGH AMMO WHEN YOU NEED IT. You can always downgrade and store the ammo in a rucksack or an ammo can, but at the very least, you have the fkin ammo on you.

This is a good starter kit that can be upgraded and customized as needed
4/5

I'm 6'0" and 190 pounds, so I had to adjust the straps to make it fit properly. Use a tape measure to ensure the straps are even and symmetrical. It sat high on my chest when I used the default cross strap harness, but it sits about an inch lower when I use the hydro harness backpack style. If it were any higher, it would cause your rifle stock to shake when you shoulder it. The Recon Chest Rig is a good value for money, holding six 30 round AR magazines in the front and two 40 rounders on the sides for a total of 250 rifle rounds. The chest rig contains six pistol magazines, which I believe is overkill. In my outside pockets, I keep a light, a knife, and two pistol magazines. I'm looking for a pair of slim binoculars that will fit in the middle pocket. To keep things organized, I considered removing a few of the pistol mag pouches. Although the original cross shoulder harness is adequate, the Condor Hydro Harness is significantly more comfortable. Even if you don't intend to use the water bladder, you can store about 30-liters of water in the rig. The hydro harness has 40 pounds of ammunition, food, water, and supplies. If you're transporting 200 pounds or more, You'll need a lot of water if you're shooting 300 rounds of ammo for hours. On the bottom of the hydro harness, I added the Condor Hydro Harness, Condor Rip Away Light Medical Kit, and Condor Rollup Pouch. The rig is a good value for money, and it fits over my low-profile plate carrier. You should be satisfied if you are purchasing it for weekend rifle classes or peace of mind.

It's a big guy
3/5

This isn't a bad product for the money; it's light and can hold a decent number of magazines. I like how the inner portion of the rig has a small pouch where I can store my SLR camera. W Bodyguard fits right in. The pistol mag pouches, on the other hand, are extremely tight, making it difficult to even fit a small flashlight in one. Also, the straps that hold the pistol magazines are only designed to hold full-size pistol magazines (roughly 15 rounds). My HK P30L mags fit perfectly, but my Glock 26 and SIG Sauer SIG Sauer SIG Sauer SIG Sauer SIG Sauer SIG Sauer SIG W shield mags are a little short; they fit, but the straps that hold them in don't quite cover them. It'll still work, but be aware that they won't be as snug as you'd like. The AR mags, on the other hand, fit perfectly, hold in place perfectly, and there are no complaints. The sizing is my primary concern. I'm a big guy who wears XL shirts and weighs 5'11 205 pounds. On me, this setup is almost too droopy. Even after tightening it all the way, it doesn't sit as high as I'd like. The lower back strap isn't much better at distributing the weight. It's certainly wearable; I just wish it was a little tighter. If you're smaller than me, I'd suggest trying a different product because this one is very easy to put on and take off. I wish it had some velcro/hook and loop patches, but that wasn't advertised, so I can't really hold it against them. My final "complaint," which isn't really fair because it wasn't intended or advertised to do so. is that I am unable to obtain my S The W bodyguard will be clipped into its kydex holster. I've tried a few different places, but I've discovered that keeping it in the inner pouch works best, though it's not ideal for quick access. This rig can be worn with my duty belt, which has two sets of dual pistol mag holsters as well as a matchweight kydex hip holster for my HK P30L. It's also no problem drawing or reloading magazines while wearing the chest rig. Overall, it's a decent product for the money; just keep in mind that it runs a little large.
