Questions & Answers

Is it possible to replace the battery by unscrewing the front?

This year, I purchased three of these small units. The first two were flawless, and they have maintained their charge. When the most recent unit arrived, it was already dead. It worked perfectly for a few days after receiving a full charge, before gradually losing its charge. After three Amazon purchases, I never saw the lifetime warranty that was printed on a business card in the box. The unit must be registered within 15 days to receive the warranty. Why is the warranty printed on a business card rather than on the unit's instructions? You won't be able to contact anyone because there isn't a phone number. Although the front can be unscrewed, it appears that the lens holds the entire circuitry in place. I've kind of averaged out the fact that the first two are great and the last one isn't so great for the price of these units.

Is it compatible with the Beretta Apx rail?

Yes, it's a perfect fit for my full-size APX. The light was snugged back to the trigger guard after the screw was moved to the front hole.

Will this penetrate the Ruger Security 9's barrel? Four picatinny rail slots on a four-inch barrel?

Should be flush with the surface of the barrel, or should be pushed back under it. br>G3c is a three-letter compound. It sits just past the 2in barrel!br>The length of the light's bezel.

What is the distance between the thrower and the target? Is it possible to use an AR platform outside?

I'm not certain. Mine is on a handgun that I own. While shooting at an indoor range, I set my target at 15 feet and made sure the entire target was well lit. So I'd imagine it'd be fine outside in low light.

Pros: It's small and bright enough to be used as a. The range of 22. br>br>Con: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is not the place The battery does not hold a charge that is even close to full. I charged it for the recommended two hours when it arrived, and the battery indicator lights indicated that it was fully charged. I switched on the light, and it was down to the last indicator light (as seen in the photo). Then I charged it for two days and had the same issue. br>br>Perhaps the biggest disadvantage is that when I notified the seller of the problem, the response was to contact the warranty department. What a load of nonsense.

Compact and well-lit
5/5

This light is extremely small, light, and bright. Small and light as possible is a good thing in my experience with combat weapon accessories. Bulk quickly accumulates in the ounces, and it seeks out nooks and crannies to cling to. About 10 yards away is the center of the light spot posted. Around a concentrated area of light in the center, you have a nice wide peripheral halo. I'd say it'd be very effective out to at least 50 yards, and it appears to be 400 lumens as advertised. Without a doubt. It just arrived, so I'll have to put it to the test in terms of durability and battery life later. br>The only thing I don't like about it is that you have to cycle through the strobe function to turn it off, but for the price, that's not a big deal. br>br>I made sure the light was fully charged before turning it on and leaving it on until the battery died. It stayed bright until around 1hr/15 minutes, with a slight dimming around 45 minutes. It became extremely dim after 1 hour/45 minutes, but it was still usable in a dark environment. It became very dim after two hours and eventually went out after five hours. The re- It took about 1 hour and 20 minutes to fully charge the battery. br>Overall, it performs better than the advertised 60 minute run time/2 hour charge time. br>Next, I'll test it on a shotgun to see if it shakes it loose.

This is a light that you should purchase
5/5

Wow, this is by far the most impressive Amazon purchase I've made in a long time. First and foremost, the light quality far exceeded my expectations. I'm a former army Ranger who served with 2nd Batt as an infantryman, so I'm always on the lookout for high-quality, affordable gear now that I have to buy everything myself. One of those purchases was this light. Granted, I haven't shot my gun with it on yet, so we'll see how it performs once I do. With that in mind, I don't expect to be disappointed. It feels fantastic to just walk around with it on my gun. It's extremely portable and simple to operate. This is my second purchase from Tacticon, and I've been extremely pleased with their service and lifetime warranty thus far. This little light outperforms a light I paid three times the price for. Finally, I received a handwritten note thanking me for my purchase, which sealed the deal. This is a company from which I will definitely buy more. My expectations have been surpassed thus far!.

White light in abundance! The quality of this small light appears to be excellent
5/5

The box was charged with aircraft aluminum, which is light but strong. If a bad guy looks at it, the 400 lumen output is impressive, and the strobe function is likely to cause a seizure. It was delivered promptly and in good condition. It was simple to install on a modern semi-truck. With a rail, it's possible to have a fully automatic pistol. The magnetic charger is one feature that I really like. To charge the light, there is no need to remove it from its mounting. Attach the charger to the light's underside and use the included adapter to plug it into a USB or the wall. This is my second Tacticon purchase, and I plan to buy more. The vendor is a US veteran who provides excellent customer service. You ought to, as well.

Wow, this is extremely bright
5/5

I'd just placed an order for a highly-recommended product. For my 7" AR pistol, I needed a tactical light that was rated. It's a nice, bright light, but it was too big and bulky for my shorty when I put it on. I'm off to Amazon to look for something a little more manageable. Tacticon was kind enough to send me this small light. It came today - br>br> When I first opened the box, I was taken aback by how small it was, and for some inexplicable reason assumed that its diminutive size meant it wouldn't be very bright. br>br>I considered relegating it to my Glock 19, but decided to give it a shot on the AR before becoming completely dissatisfied with it. br>br>I slid it onto a picattiny side rail on my handguard and waited for the sun to set. br>br>Because I live in the woods, dark equals DARK to me. br>br>I went to the library and got my M. P 15, armed with the larger tactical light mentioned earlier for comparison, grabbed the new light and went out on the porch to LIT UP THE NIGHT. br>br>For a fraction of the size and weight, this tiny little light is just as bright and throws light nearly as far as the much larger/bulkier light. For anything I'll need a 7" AR for, it'll be far more than adequate. I was completely taken aback by how bright this thing is. br>br>The light is also very simple to operate, with an on/off button that can be pressed from either side, and magnetic charging - It's not necessary to remove this baby from the gun to charge or replace the batteries. br>br>I'm not sure how well it will hold up, but the warranty is excellent, so I'm not concerned. br>br>I can't say enough good things about it - This tiny thing is great for keeping a larger gun streamlined and lightweight, and it's not just for handguns! There is a lot of light. BUY THIS LIGHT NOW! br>br> (I am not being compensated or sponsored in any way for this review; I am simply blown away. ).

I've used Tacticon products for a long time, and this new light appears to be of the same high quality as the rest of my Tacticon gear
5/5

Anyone who owns a lot of guns knows that accessories can quickly add up to the cost of the weapon. Tacticon produces high-quality accessories at an affordable price, which is a cliche in the firearms industry that is usually used to disparage anything not made in the United States or Western Europe, but it is true in this case. It's easily as good as a Pic rail flashlight for three times the price, and I haven't had enough time to rate the battery life or durability, but if it's anything like the other Tacticon products I have, it'll be fantastic. For a small light, the brightness is astounding. I've got one on a tactical 12 gauge and another on an MCK conversion kit for a Glock 17, and they both work great. They'll brighten up a room or a hallway, and the strobe mode is almost disorienting if you look into it.
