This was something I really wanted to like. I like how bright the light is at first, and the momentary switch is a great feature for when you're moving around. There's a lot of room for surprise. The laser, however, points in a different direction every time I turn it on. I know this because I set it up to co-witness with my zeroed-in vortex red dot at first. At a distance of 20 feet, the laser moves a few inches. Is it possible that there is a problem with the quality control? It'll be returned for a new one.
I came to set it because the red light doesn't show up as well as the green one and it keeps moving when on my Glock 19, so it's just a glorified flashlight.
I've had the light for about a month and am happy with it so far. The red dot is useful for aiming at the center mass, but it isn't very precise. The light has a tendency to move slightly as you holster and unholster the weapon, which is why it loses zero. In any case, it's accurate up to a couple of inches at 25 feet, so it seems to do the job for me as a weapon light and red dot on a concealed carry weapon.
The directions are practically useless. It's a fantastic little light that's smaller than most, has a rechargeable battery, is extremely bright, and can be set to turn on the laser, the light, or both. Only one finger is required for this operation. We'll see how long it lasts, but it appears to be well made.
Mounting system that is simple to use and secure. The laser is decent, and the light is very bright/impressive, especially considering its ultra-compact size, but it has drawbacks in that it drains the battery faster than other lights, which is understandable. Recharging is also quick (from low to full in less than an hour). The magnetic charging cable system for the internal battery (no need to replace a battery) is one of my favorites. However, after the second day, my light/laser completely stopped working. Nothing worked, even after recharging until it was "green. " To see if this happens again, I'm returning for a replacement.
The battery life is a little short, but it fits perfectly on my. 40 Glock. It has a wide beam, and the red laser is very visible, even with the 600 lumen light turned on.
I even inquired, stating that yes, it fits, but why can't they simply tell you to purchase the recovery rail? br>br>So far, the light has been fantastic; I'll continue to edit as time goes on.
For the money, this is a nice light. I can't speak to battery life because I haven't used it long enough to know. It does, however, work and is bright when I turn it on. When I go to turn, that's the only thing I notice. It will occasionally, but infrequently, turn off. It takes a couple of tries to get it right. Aside from that, this is a fantastic purchase.
