After putting in the front post, the blade height was measured. 260 and . On top of that, there's a 450 cc engine in the back.
There is a front staked sight on that weapon. The front of the slide would need to be machined with a dovetail.
It is compatible with pistols that have Novak site cuts. Because of the differences in tolerances, you may need to do some filing to get them to fit. Make sure you have some gun blue on hand for touch-ups after you've finished filing and before you install it permanently.

(Trusted Sports) is an excellent seller. It's a good product. I have other truglo tritium pro sights for my Glock and Polymer80 pistols, and this one is just as well made and looks. This one is for a 1911, and unfortunately, TruGlo doesn't provide much in the way of sizing information, so I didn't realize these sights were for the 3" until I got the package. In 9mm, the 1911 is 25" long. 40 cal. I've got a 5" in. 45 ACP. I ordered the TG231N4W based on the description in the listing's image, which contains a table of part numbers matched to descriptions. After receiving the product and seeing on the packaging that it wasn't for my firearm, I went to TryGlo's website to confirm they had a newer sizing table, which I needed for the TG231N1W model I needed. I contacted the seller (a third-party company called "Trusted Sports"), who was extremely helpful and responsive to my requests. They provided me with a return label and even went out of their way to look for the model I needed on other websites. It appears that everything is sold out. I'll keep my eyes peeled for it and would gladly purchase from Trusted Sports again!.
The sights on my Springfield 1911 are identical to the originals. Because the original sights are difficult to remove (unlike a Glock, which I was able to do myself), I had to have it installed by a gunsmith. But I'm happy with my purchase overall.
When it comes to the Ruger sr1911 commander, The rear sight snaps into place with little effort. The front sight, on the other hand, will require minor adjustments in order to fit. If you don't have the skills, you should probably pay a local gunsmith to fit them for you so you don't ruin the sight or slide; if you do, you can do it yourself with a knife file. Do not force the sight to open; you may need to do so a few times to ensure that it is clear. To raise the front sight above your slide, the Ruger slide might need to be flattened or the front sight shaved.
Too tall. On my Les Baer stinger, it looks like the hood scoop from a 1972 'Cuda. Lower mount will be installed in its place. The "u" notch and large dot, on the other hand, are extremely quick. If only the seats were a little more comfortable.
These sights were designed with Commander-style dovetails in mind. Because this isn't mentioned in the description, they won't fit my gun. Due to the tritium, Amazon will not accept returns on this item. However, if you scream at them, they will refund your money. Overall, one star because the seller does not specify what cut the sights are for, and if you want your money back, you must be unpleasant with customer service, which I dislike.
Everything else went as planned. My Ruger SR1911 was too big for it. To make them fit, I had to file them down quite a bit. Otherwise, with some dremel and sandpaper work, I was able to get them to fit.
They are, however, of excellent quality, and Truglo has never let me down.
