Yes, it is incredibly simple to set up. This sight is only for barrels with vent ribs. If it's too tight to slide on, tap it gently with a small hammer. This sight is also suitable for shotguns with a barrel rib in the middle, such as double barrel shotguns.

Perfect score of 87. The fiber optic sight I had previously didn't fit well, slid around, and fell off every time I took it out of my soft case, so I went with this sight because it was designed for Remington shotguns. This one caught my 11-year-old's attention. 87 is a perfect fit with a very tight and secure fit. It does not move easily and appears to be very secure thanks to the snug fit and the magnets. This sight is made for Remington 870, 1100, and 11-gauge rifles, according to the packaging. 87 shotguns with a 9/32" rib width. This sight isn't for you if your gun's rib isn't 9/32 inches wide. I also like how it comes with six different sized changeable light tubs, three green and three red. I'll update this review once I've shot a few rounds of trap and experimented with the various tubes, but so far, two thumbs up.
On the rib of my Remington Express 870, I mounted this. It came with a 28" barrel, which I cut down to 18. 5" for personal protection in the home. The sight was easy to put on the remaining rib, but it was a tight fit. The sight did not move at all after I fired 50 rounds of slug, 00 Buck, and 4 Buck through the gun. This sight allows the shotgun to shoot point-of-aim at 15 yards. In the daylight, the sight is a large triangle-shaped insert that shines brightly. When my tactical shotgun light is turned on, the sight is still visible in the dark. In general, it accomplishes my objectives.
It's a nice addition. The site was simple to set up on my Remington 11-gauge rifle. Shotgun No. 87 It was only 3 seconds long. I didn't use any glue or loctite, as others suggested, because it snapped snugly to the top over rail and slid up snugly against the existing white dot site. The site provides a nice visual cue, particularly with the triangle cut glass. It's intuitive to put the back dot inside the triangle; I didn't try the others because the triangle does it for me. However, because the glass pieces appear to be fragile, I decided against swapping them.
This product's packaging is among the most obnoxious I've ever seen. To remove each individual piece, you'll need a knife, and you'll want to be careful not to damage the small plastic sight rods. They should have simply placed all of the pieces in the nice little holding case that came with the plastic package. I have yet to try the product, but it appears to be excellent. On my Remington 870 shotgun, it's a perfect fit. As a result, I reluctantly award 1 star for packaging and 5 stars for the product. I can't just dismiss packaging that's difficult to open and poses a risk to the product.
First and foremost, I bought this with the expectation that it would not work. The sight bracket isn't compatible with the Remington 887 Nitro Mag. I took a chance, but didn't win, because neither the advertisement nor the packaging mentioned the 887. The second part, on the other hand, is a little more complicated. Second, I don't think it's a total loss, which is why I gave it four stars. The mounting bracket appears to be solidly built. The litepipes are simple to replace and extremely bright. I can use the litepipes with my current vision; I had to replace the original pipe because it had broken, so I'm glad these fit. The mounting bracket, three reddish orange litepipes, three high-visibility yellow litepipes, and a storage container were all included in my package. I suppose I should consider this a win in the end. I now have a reason to go out and buy a new shotgun. Isn't that the way it works? To avoid having to buy the main component, why not get the accessories first? I've just received "the look," to put it mildly. I hope this has been of some assistance to you.
First and foremost, I am a poor shooter. But, unlike the installed bead site, this item allows me to see my site better; in fact, I was getting better in the Dove field than I normally am, and I would recommend this item to those who have similar sighting difficulties. I had no idea it came with a variety of colored sight tubes that could be swapped out or replaced. Nice. . It was easy to set up and did not move even after a lot of shots. It also includes a storage box to ensure that the extras are not misplaced. Overall, I think it's pretty cool.
The HIVIZ fiber optic sight does exactly what it says on the tin. I purchased it the day before a clay shooting outing and easily slipped it on. The improvement in visibility over the stock Rem 870 bead is significant, especially for a beginner, and by the end of the day, others wanted to use my gun and were shooting much better with it. The money was well spent.
It snapped right onto the barrel's rib with no effort on my part. There are two colors available for the light pipes: They come in two colors: red and bright green, and each has its own storage compartment. The end of the light pipe that you look at while aiming comes in two different shapes: triangular and circular are two different types of shapes. Simply snap it on after aligning it with the factory sight bead. It doesn't get any easier than this. Simply lift up gently on the back of the light pipe while sliding the front of the light pipe towards the rear of the firearm to replace the light pipes.
