AR15 10 has been installed. 5". When locked, the sight wobbles quite a bit from front to back. There's also a fair amount of side-to-side wobble. To zero the aperture, I had to move it almost completely to the right. If I had to do it all over again, I'd give it a hard pass.
Very rigid and unyielding. Magpul will help you save money.
You can get this fantastic product for half the cost of plastic Magpul flippies. Magpul is only half as good as this. It's great that it's available in a variety of colors. I really like how it matches the gun perfectly. The posts, on the other hand, are a little on the long side. The rear L-shaped sight piece does not fold flat and is flimsy and moves around too easily under recoil. But for cutes and cheeps, it's a good deal.
My AAR can be found below. As a veteran, it was very easy for me to put my faith in Dagger Defense, and I couldn't be happier with my decision; installation is as simple as any BUIS. I've done a lot of different builds, and it's almost impossible to find BUIS that aren't polymer at a reasonable price. I had no issues after a full day of shooting; Zero held and the mounts were rock solid. There was no need to re-enter the information. Tighten only once (or if you haven't done so since). These are long-lasting sights that are on par with some of their more expensive competitors. I give them the thumbs up. Hooah DD! Outstanding product, and I'm always curious about other people's builds, so if you're like me, I mounted these to 7. AR15 with a 62 x 39 barrel and a 16-round magazine.
The plastic popup buttons that unlock the sights when they are locked are not secure - They appear when the eye is not strained and the sight is released. It's very simple to get rid of - a huge letdown - These must be returned.
Wow! These sights are incredible, to say the least. As my primary sights, I mounted them on a Kriss Vector. The red color is stunning, and these images scream QUALITY! Target sights that are extremely quick. I couldn't be happier. I'm sure you'll enjoy them as well. They're a great buy, and they're worth a lot more than the asking price, in my opinion!.
It has two sides: a regular peak side and a larger deep site for low-light night vision. However, the perspectives must be reversed. When you fold the rear sight down while the regular peep sight is up, it tries to flip the sights or hits the rail and won't let you lock it down. It needs to be set up so that the low light site is vertical to the weapon, but in front of the site Tower, because I assume that's the pizza most people will be using. Alternatively, it should be interchangeable, allowing you to remove and flip the site.
