Questions & Answers

In a box, how many of each are there?

The total piece count is 100.

The Ridgid LevelMax system is compatible with these shields?

Thank you for your interest in these shields, which were developed exclusively for Spin Doctor systems. While they may function if the shield fits, we do not recommend using them with any other brands.

That's the width of the grout plate at 1/8"?

As a question, it will appear on the clear view shield. The clear view shield is the part that protects the tile from scratches This is a separate product that is called the baseplate, and the baseplate refers to the space between tiles that is to be grouted. Combined, I've seen them both at 1/16th and at 1/8th scale

According to the description, it says it's for 3/16 base, but in the infi file, it doesn't say that?

The fit is 1/16" & 1/8" Compatible with 1/8" Spin Doctor bases not compatible with 3/16" bases. As far as I can recall, I have only used 1/8" grout spacers. There is only a 1/16" and an 1/8" available, according to my knowledge. 3/16" is quite a large size, so I suppose the material would be so thick that the posts would not break off as a consequence no disks are produced

Please take care not to damage your tile! The wedge style I have been using for a long time seems dated to me, so I thought these things would be an upgrade
3/5

I do not think they are. It is HORRIBLE what is happening here. My aim was to break them off using a rubber mallet in the same way a rubber mallet does. No need to worry about them breaking! The Spin Doctor stayed intact even after I broke a corner of the tile with my foot during a hard hit. The stupid things I did caused me to have to remove a whole bunch of wire that required repair. Tiles that have been broken or chipped. What a surprise! It's true, these things will end up in the trash, and I am going back to using wedges in my clothing. The ones I have are never a problem for me. I find this product to be terrible.

Perhaps (hopefully) more experienced tile installers would know better, but otherwise newbies did not know what they were doing
4/5

When choosing a leveling system like the Spin Doctor, you'll need these if you're setting marble or another soft natural stone. Using the shields under the Spin Doctor caps did not help when we laid the first area on the tile, and we found permanent marks where the caps had rubbed against the tile when tightened. In the experience department, a tile installer would probably (hopefully) have known better, but we were still novices. To summarize, we used the shields to avoid the problem on the NEXT area of tile we laid. The only complaint I have is that they should have been included in the overall system rather than sold separately as an add-on. But hey, we all have to make money somehow,.

It protects the tile and is reusable
5/5

These levelers from Spin Doctor are really good. With the spin doctor, I don't think I would have needed the clear shield as I don't think my tiles would have been damaged by the red caps. I did use them and I found the tiling to be significantly easier to level, especially with the 20x40" Almost all of the tiles leveled with the adjacent tiles without any difficulty. a trowel with a diameter of 3/8" and achieved the desired result. It looked very professional and I had only done three tiling jobs before.

Some jobs require good communication skills
4/5

The nuts can be tightened by using these, making them a good alternative to torque wrenches. The nut is prevented from smudging the tile with these, but for porcelain tiles, I do not believe they are necessary since they can be easily cleaned. It is not recommended for sensitive tile such as marble, as it will cause damage.

A spin type level system and a rotary type level system
5/5

I used them with Ridgid's tile levelmax system because they kept the spin tops from goinguge into the slate tile as they were turned downwards. The reusable, thick plastic fits both spin level systems for your convenience
There are none.

Definitely the best system I've ever used to install tiles
5/5

It is easy to use and is sturdy. Since you can remove them after you initially install them to reinstall them, I like them Make an adjustment and then reload Those programs should be installed. I have not had problems with them breaking during releveling as I have had with other leveling systems The tiles are firmly fastened and are easy to adjust they have a larger surface area than other tile fittings and are easy to install without requiring extra tools.

If you plan on using the SpinDR SYSTEM, make sure to have this
5/5

When used with the spin dr system, these greatly improve results. In this way, the tiles are kept from moving when they are tightened. When I first started using the system, I noticed this to be an issue, so I decided to go ahead and install these. As it turns out, I would not have been as pleased otherwise. They were much more sturdy and heavier than I expected, and I would recommend them.

I use Rigid level max and it works great
5/5

Great! Works like a charm. If you want a little color, perhaps add a drop. If you kick all the stems, it's hard to see them on the floor and in the tub. The translucent neon color would make them more attractive to me. You may want to add a stronger storage container. It would be nice to have storage containers such as coin dispensers that are spring loaded.
