Any Freak barrel back will work with the inserts and barrel front. The thread to match the marker can be found on the back.

Will these inserts fit into any barrel, including my 14-inch custom products barrel and my 9-inch X7 phenomenon Assult barrel?

No, you'll need a freak ready barrel to use these.

Is this compatible with the first strike compact marker?

They work with the FSC Insert Barrel from First Strike. The kit doesn't come with a barrel.

If I do say so myself, this is a pretty good product. Because I already had a good shooting marker, the results weren't spectacular, but the kit (paired with the 16" Fibur-X) was well worth the money. X Barrel.

I was unsure how much of a difference it would make, but it's fantastic. Ball grouping 12"-14" circle vs. freak insert 9"-6" circle at 35ft made a huge difference.
