It was purchased to be mounted on an MLOK handguard, and it was very easy to install. They include a very large allen head, which is fantastic. Mine took less than a minute to set up. Anti-rotation tabs are built into the sling swivel, allowing you to position it exactly where you want it without it rotating.
It's deceptive advertising because it says 1 pack but shows 5 quantity in the picture, leading customers to believe there are 5 in a pack instead of one. Take down the picture because it's deceptive advertising.
The BCM QD sling mount does not have rotation stops, according to a previous reviewer. However, it is true. The strap's angle can be adjusted every 45 degrees. degrees. I'm not sure I'd describe it as "low-key. " profile," but you'll have to accept a thicker mount if you want the stops.
They're fantastic, and I can't think of anything negative to say about them. They're not difficult to install if you have the right tools, and they've been on my upper for quite some time with no signs of wear. It has an anti-turn qd hole, which means it won't turn out of control once the qd is attached to one side. When you use it, you'll have some level of control and predictability. It doesn't take up much room on the rail when it's not in use. It's almost flush with the wall.
It was firmly fixed in place. a useful tip - Before installing the nuts, I double-checked that they were aligned with the Mlok slots in the rifle forend. Then I positioned the sling mount in the Mlok forend slots and tightened the nuts. Then I used the wrench to back off the screws about 3 turns before tightening the nuts clockwise, which locked the mount in place because the nuts' cams grabbed the forend slots.
This, like all Bravo Company products, is extremely well constructed. It has a nice solid feel and a decent weight for such a small part. This isn't a "will weigh down your mlok rail" weight, but rather a "this is well-made" weight. My mean gene QD sling attaches securely to the mlok rail, and it easily tightens up to it. I wasn't expecting anything less from a BC part, and I wasn't let down. Because it comes with enough oil to start a pomade factory, you'll have to wipe it down. This is not a criticism; rather, it is a request that the customer receive a part that is free of corrosion when it arrives. This is a great addition to my mlok rail. It's compact, sturdy, and it works flawlessly.
This was so good that I switched from Magpul to BCM, which is, ironically, better and easier to install than Magpul, the company that invented the MLOK system. Bravo Company is one of the best.
Screw engagement is extremely strong. Before you begin the MLOK installation, make sure to read the detailed Magpul instructions first, as you will be tightening these down significantly and testing turn-in. To get a solid engagement, back out or tighten the grip. I squandered my time on two knock-off QDs that wouldn't fit in one slot or spin tabs on screws securely. These are incredible.
