Questions & Answers

Can you tell me how much it weighs?

Have never held a heavy sock before, but I feel comfortable with a light one. The weight does not seem to be there.

The item you are looking at is water resistant, right?

In fact, yes. Neoprene is the material used for it. It is true that there are stitched seams, so it is not likely that they I would consider the ScopeShield to be weather proof for the most part. It is also important to note that these work best on scopes without sunshades. It has been a few days since I wrote ScopeShield about using them on lenses with sunshades, and I have not received a response.

Can this be used with what kind of objective lens? My 15" weaver nitrex 3 is in excellent condition I'm using a 50mm objective on a 10. Based on the range of 14, it's likely that the SS14 would fit. 5 to 6" What is "5"?

it does not have a sun shade, #13 will fit with plenty of room. Kenny, thanks for your kind words. You should not be concerned about the objective per se, but about the length. And these have the necessary stretch. A 14 would be really loose even if you got it.

It is a lovely cover, but it is very They are just as good as more expensive scope coats, and are built with the same quality as the more costly ones
4/5

Stitched well, the covers feature handy loops on the ends that can be used to help you install and remove them. As thick as a scope coat, neoprene is used on the neoprene. They are, however, on the small end of the size spectrum, and this as been noted by several people. This is the second of two I bought. It is the SS that carries out these actions The 5 in diameter fit perfectly inside my 5-in diameter Aimpoint PRO. Although it states that it will fit scopes up to five inches in length, it doesn't appear to be large enough to accommodate a scope much bigger than five inches. The length of the hair should be 5 to 7 inches. There is no official version of the I was able to fit my six in a 7. Primary Arms 5x prism scope fits perfectly on the 5 inch tube. The cover itself cannot be stretched much beyond 6 inches, so I wouldn't suggest it. Though it is listed as fitting seven inches on the manufacturer's site, it only fits five inches. The scopes measure 9 inches long. Depending on my experience, measure the length of your scope and order the cover that shows a minimum size that is 1 inch longer than that.

The flip-up cap is much better than it's flimsy counterpart
5/5

A lot of people spend some money on a nice scope and then drop a few coin on an extra pair of flip-flops The scope caps should be put There was not much protection provided by the caps, and eventually they failed. A lot of times they simply break or start popping open by themselves. had purchased two each, an SS14 and an SS15 during the late summer and early fall Despite the current economic climate, they still have a positive outlook. In the future, I will likely order one or two more scope caps as mine Buying this means that for the same price as two of those (Vortex caps are more expensive, but still just as inexpensive), you'll get a more durable scope cap that actually protects your The covers fit nicely at the edges of my scopes, are not too tight, and are easy to remove. * Be sure to measure carefully so you can order the right size. * Benefits Please review
Designed and made here in the USA to a high standard of quality. Please review
These are much more durable than the flimsy pop-up covers that you find everywhere. The actual field conditions are not as bad as they sound. Please review
Because it covers the most of the territory, it is a better option. Please review
This type of lens protector will help keep your lenses clean/clear and still be able to be removed easily if you order the right size. Please review
When you remove the cover from the scope, the barrel strap holds it firmly in place on the barrel. This means you won't have to worry about it falling on the ground or getting lost. This product is made of Neoprene so it will not be affected by water, snow, etc. Please review
To remove the barrel cover from the rifle, secure it with a piece of hook and loop fastener in the barrel strap so that there is no need to remove the sling or slip it over the muzzle. Please review
Provide a model with thicker Neoprene for the scope in order to provide a little extra protection against bumps. In general, I am pleased with my purchases and plan to make more in the future.

I love this thing, and it is one of my favorites
5/5

My hard covers do not compare to this. I love this thing, and it is one of my favorites. My hard covers that came with my Elite 6500 6x24 were far inferior to this. I really appreciate having something that will keep dust and debris off my lenses, and will also protect my scope while repeatedly putting it into and taking it out of my safe. Any fireamster who owns an optic should know that they bump into objects every now and then, and there is nothing more annoying than hitting the bolt handle of another rifle in your safe and scratching the flawless glass. The range cap protects against that, as well as being easy to put on and take off. Unless you want to fiddle with elastic strings on the standard caps or flip up sights that might break, these are the caps you want. Unless you're hunting with it, you can easily remove it by flipping up the front and rear flipup covers more quickly than if you're hunting with it. It simply needs to be stretched back to clear the rear of your optic, and then let it go. It will sling forward with just enough momentum to clear the front lens and either fall off (if you don't wrap it around the barrel), or hang off the barrel with 100% clearance. This is a great buy and I will use them for my other optics as well once they come in.

Product that is of high quality
5/5

I loved the design and quality of the product, however, I had to return it because I received one that was two sizes larger than the size In fact I had never even thought that I could use it not only on my 20 gauge scope but also on my crossbow scope, so I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived I'm in! If Real Tree could provide the company with the rights to use the camo, the product would be improved.

The Romeo 7 can be very well protected by Sig Sauer
5/5

For my Sig Sauer Romeo 7 Red Dot, I purchased the SS6 size. I found that it fit a little tight, but otherwise it seems to work fine. Many have stated they run small, so if you're worried about it, you might want to get the next size up. Purchasing the 3mm model, I noticed how thick the material is. This level of protection is more than sufficient. I am happy with the.

The scope of the article
5/5

In comparison to some scope covers with rubber, this one worked perfectly and was easier to handle. This works great to protect the scope when it is cold outside and you are hiking through some snow and brush. If you want to use your gun right away, it is also very easy to get it off and not lose it.

Choosing a scope cover from this selection could not be easier
4/5

SS8 was purchased to fit a Leupold model AR mod 1 1 over the ScopeShield SS8. It is 9 when you multiply 4x20. Five inches long with a diameter of one inch and a length of one inch. The only 5 inch diameter eyepiece for which Leupold doesn't offer a cover is the 2 1/2" eyepiece. Its dimensions are 8" long and 3" tall, so it fits on scopes 8" in length. A measurement that ranges from 5" to 9". The length is 5', and can be stretched to fit this nine. Fits snugly around the 5 inch scope and turrets without being too restrictive. 0 neoprene is used in the neoprene. This is an adequate thickness for a scope cover at 10 inches thick. I cannot test how well this cover will withstand water. I can easily slip it on and off with one hand. As a result, the neoprene does not create a seal around the objectives because it is sewn on the inside of the cover. If that is not the case, I would give it 5 stars. If there is a lot of wind and dust, you may need to use snap-on lens covers to prevent dust and grit from blowing into your The scope will remain much cleaner with a cover than without one.

Protect your eyewear with the best product
5/5

This product was bought for a build I recently participated in. Leupold VX-8 and SS10 models are designed to fit together perfectly The second level of R Grey furniture from Mission First Tactical and ALG Defense coordinates well with 7x33mm tactical systems. Powered by a quick tug and lift at the rear, the catapult takes off with ease. Design that is both simple and clever. I will never use a cap or lens cover A great part of the article We get our products made here in the U. S. A.
