Questions & Answers

On the rail, how many sections does it take up?

At most, I would say two or three.

How large is the hex wrench that is required for installation or does it come with one?

Installing it is easy since everything you need is included.

I understand that 45 degree mounts come with a wrench, but why does it not include a driver?

The standard size and shape keeps costs down, so I guess that explains it

You can mount a red dot as far as it will fit comfortably (minimum and maximum) away from your eye. ?

Although I am no expert, I believe you can mount the optic as far away as you like. A closer range might result in you taking the target in the eye upon pulling the trigger, but you'll also waste more MOA the further it is from you.

I like it very much
4/5

Guy, I got this mount to mount my mro at a 45° angle for passive use of my nods. The perfect size for the MRO. One down side is that I had to grind it down on the inside to get the Lark Quad Drive to work, so there's something In terms of larue qd locking up this rail, it has never had an issue on any other rail. I could have adjusted for an American defense if the qd had been a QD. However, this is a terrific product aside from that.

I am happy with it
5/5

As a result of ordering this thing, I am using it to side mount a red dot under/next to a longer distance I am happy with it. Keep in mind that it sticks out about 1/4" above your upper rail, so make sure whatever you mount over top of it will clear.

There is rubbish in the world
3/5

Daniel's defense is the one you need. It's usually a vortex product I like, but this mount is terrible. It was difficult to remove the tightening screw, and I was lucky to get it out. It wouldn't be recommended. You can buy one of the Daniel defense ones.

It is of high quality
5/5

Quality is excellent, and a 45 offset will not compare to it when it comes to value for money. Ideally, if you plan to mount a backup red dot, then buy a quality mount to ensure a secure link and a.
