Leaving the lock open is not necessary. Adjusting to zero is as simple as pulling up on the turret, turning it to zero, and then releasing it. After snapping back into place, the turret opens. You can now adjust the elevation (or windage) of the turret In addition to continuously adjusting height depending on ammo type and brand, I have to adapt it to distance as well.

Selected User Reviews For Nikon P-Tactical .223 3-9x40 Matte BDC600
To the guy who got confused by the word tactical sorry about that. What do you interpret its meaning to be? Close Quarters Combat is certainly not relegated to close quarters. A 3x9 power scope with a 600 yard BDC is offered. Were you really planning on shooting it at 25 yards indoors? The scope can't be docked just because the wrong one was purchased. In response to the person who gave one star to the BDC, I apologize for the small size. There are two focal planes in this optical system. When you zoom in, the BDC markings become significantly larger and you need to zoom in fully for the BDC to function. It is either that you didn't read the instructions on how to operate the scope, or you should have found a BDC that is the same size regardless of Magnification if you were paying more money. There are very few optics on the market that are as good as Nikon's at such a reasonable price. The scope under consideration does not fall into that category. I have never lost zero on these despite getting banged around a lot and they have crystal clear glass, good light collection, and 1/4 MOA adjustments. The optics on this AR are exceptional. It was made to be accurate. You can ring the gong with ease from 600 yards and have a good time. As much as possible, don't expect it to be anything other than what it is described as being.
I see this scope getting great reviews everywhere on the web, but it is not suitable for short ranges of 25 yards inside. With the word "tactical" in the name and the frequent reference to the "AR platform" throughout the various reviews, I thought this would apply well to the I have no doubt that it would be wonderful if it were outdoors at 50 yards or more. To focus at 25 yards, using the diopter adjustment ring will result in blurriness or even disappearance of the reticle indoors. Diaphragm adjustment is NOT intended to focus on an object in the field of vision. A diopter's purpose is to help you focus your very own reticule according to your own Furthermore, at 25 yards the parallax is quite noticeable, but is gone With my 22 WMR rifle, I also use a Nikon Prostaff Target EFR with adjustable objective that can focus as close as 10 yards and is an excellent scope for indoor target shooting. This P will be returned to you It is tactical and you should get the newer version of I'm attaching AO to the EFR 3 and am hoping that it will work well. This rifle shoots 223 rounds.
This is my second purchase for a . There are two types of 223 - this one and another. I would highly recommend this scope for any raffle if I had one 270 I am happy with it and would do it again.
While the scope appears well built, the eye relief isn't too bad, but the reticle and BDC markings are nearly impossible to read. It is hard to see the reticle on this scope despite the fine crosshairs. No one has stared through this scope without saying, "Wow, that is a tough reticle. ".
This rifle is a 56. Here is a scope you should consider if you are on the lookout for a BDC. This is a great rifle for the money. The optics are awesome and it holds zero from the start. It took three shots after boresighting to get an The numeric value is exactly zero. The rifle looks good in the hand, because it's strong and durable.
This is fantastic! This numeric value was zeroed in and is I was surprised to find that the BDC was more accurate than I expected. Clear optics make the world a more beautiful place. Nikon is stepping away from rifle scopes, and I regret this.
My Henry Longranger has a new Nikon scope which I put on it. There were still some Nikon scopes in the warehouse when I got it, so it's like I got another scope after Nikon stopped making them. I am looking at the Leupold, and it costs around half of what it costs and the clarity of the glass is excellent.
At this price, you cannot do better than this scope. The optics are crystal clear. It is a good deal.
