Questions & Answers

The multi grain turret is a component of a synthesis strategy?

I use mine for a variety of things The grain turret is used to elevate the grain. As long as you have the ring on, you can compensate for bullets with a 17 or 20 grain bullet weight up to 300 yards without having to sight your optic in for a different bullet weight. A single turret does both these functions, so it is not necessary to change the nob or the turret for elevation. I really like the system.

This scope will have the Parallax adjustment on the side(Side focus ?

For the price it works well and it is a clear scope I sight mine in at 75 yards then adjust the turret for zero click adjustments and it works great still have mine on my 17 and plan to keep it for years to come

The scope looks like an AO scope, right?

The AO was what I received.

Use you use a Savage 17 HMR with what kinds of scope mounts?

My scope mount was a regular size Weaver scope mount for a 1" diameter

Selected User Reviews For BSA 3-12X40 Sweet 17 Rifle Scope with Multi-Grain Turret

The product is too expensive and does not perform well
3/5

It has a price tag of $130 for a scope that costs $50. The scope's turrets are soft, the glass is subpar, and the finish is average, but the eye relief is not satisfactory as it should be. Purchasing a scope at Walmart for $50 will get you a cheap scope, whereas spending another $30 will get you a quality scope, such as a Nikon or A scope that wasn't worth the price is a total waste. I wish I had believed the negative reviews. To even question the positive reviews, I need to look at the negative review of the scope.

It seems like a great deal of scope
5/5

The product performed as described, and the quality is excellent. The instructions and YouTube videos have not yet provided me with an answer to how to adjust the video. Having only turned the turrets, my friend told me that I had turned them incorrectly. The information is located in and is extremely accurate, and since this is an A bullet dropped in 17 cal will have minimal drop from a distance of longer than 10 meters.

It is a good scope for the price
5/5

I have used one in the past with ease to shoot 2" x 3" rectangular targets at 200 yards. In the period from 25 to 30 I have no trouble with the scope at 300 yards. My accuracy begins to suffer at 300 yards due to wind or my imperfections become more apparent. The windage adjustment turret is not used by me. Situations that require gusty behavior are usually dealt with by me. You get good value for your money with this scope.

The scope of the project is good
5/5

It was hard for me to decide which scope to buy for my marlin 17 and after a lot of research I chose this one, and it is excellent. This is another scope that hasn't let me down. Although, I was hesitant to go for a cheaper final phase It is easy to focus on targets even with leaves and twigs in the distance since the image is clear and bright. I liked the fact that it had a multi-grain turret and it had no accuracy problems. This was a great deal and I saved a few bucks.

The product had a fatal flaw when it was delivered
3/5

A replacement device worked fine. A BSA scope for the first time. The program had two problems out of the box, one which could have been fatal, one which was nearly fatal. A fatal problem #1 exists All external lenses, the objective, and the eyepiece of the scope come with threaded aluminum covers. I believe that it is a good idea, but it is executed fatally poorly. It was good for the eyepiece cover, but not for the cover over the objective lens, which should not be moved by fingers Only tight, is screwed in so firmly that even with two strap wrenches, it cannot be removed. Any kind of wrench I use could distort or torque the tube or mar its finish, so I'm not going to try it. BSA customer support will be contacted in the morning for assistance, but without a miracle, it will be returned to Amazon tomorrow, where a Nikon will be shipped out. This is a travesty because the specs for this scope are so impressive on the 17 HMR. The following are the problems with problem Among the variable power scopes I've experienced, the magnification ring is so tight and difficult to turn that it can be very frustrating. We're almost at the end of the year N. , you're doing a great job. The adjustment is made in the field on the an adjustment screw on this ring, but loosing or tightening it does not seem to make any difference. It is not The scope I received had these flaws even before I mounted it, which is very disappointing. Any time there is a reason to update the review, I will A new update was published on The BSA product support lab wants to receive the scope back for investigation and/or repair, which could take up to Instead of a refund, I'm returning it to Amazon, where I will get a replacement in place of one. It is hoped that the replacement will not have the same issues. This is an update for February 17, 2014. I am now going to replace the It was at least possible to remove the lens caps You would expect it to be about the same as Optical clarity is good and the lenses are There is no problem with the parallax adjustment. Like the first magnification ring, this one is stiff as well. This gun holds a zero pretty well, but I get horrible results with its Sweet 17 feature, in which you can dial a range based on bullet weight, so I don't bother with Honestly, you could expect a $100 scope to be about the same. This is a 3. I'm upping my rating!.

To 200 yards, this scope has great range
5/5

On my 17 HMR, this scope is good on a distance of 200 yards at 100 yards. Thirty shots can be put through a dime at 100 yards. In addition, being able to enter both distance and click lines makes it so much easier to use when you have a known distance already dialed in.

A scope I have never used before, but I highly recommend it
5/5

After scoping it out, I was able to complete it within A scope I have never used before, but I highly recommend it. The fact that I am so great at shooting allows me to be so accurate. Putting it on a Benjamin Black Lightning break action pellet rifle was a good idea. Such an accurate description of the situation. As a break action pellet rifle user, I purchased this scope as it is supposed to last a long time. They only lasted about 3 months before they wore out. I've used CenterPoint and Gamo scopes.

The construction is good, but the weight is Both of these are now in my possession
4/5

I think it is a good value for the money. The con is that it zeros easily, seems rugged, and has a few downsides As for its weight, it is quite heavy. Turrets can easily be moved in place As a result, if you set them, they will work. When the range is zeroed at the correct point, it is very simple to move the items back, and it appears to hold true even when moving from different ranges, such as 100 to 250. From 150 to 100 and back again.
