For the price, it is actually a very good scope. It is the company's entry model at a lower price point.
It was hard to tell the difference between the two when I looked over them. I found the vortex to be smaller than expected
Although the eye piece does not rotate, the whole scope can be rotated, as there is a ring around the body where a lock down screw holds it in place. In spite of that, I am very pleased with it for the money I spent. While my shooting buddy owns a more expensive scope, this one matches it in terms of performance. In the case of a need for a second one, I'm sure I'd buy one!

"Okay" is all I can say. Whether you look at something or not, it has a purple outline. Relief from eye pain is finicky/short. I would recommend this product to someone who needs very mild relief from eye pain. Releasing a rifle after zeroing it. However, I think it is the best of the worst at the price point.
My eyes were dazzled by the moon as I viewed it tonight. My first look at the moon with TALOS at 60x was stunning, with its many craters and surface features I had never seen before. The image is free of It is zero. Neither purple nor green halo was present. I'm going to address all the naysayers. This is BS in my opinion. In order for me to use it for its intended purpose, I am going to take it to the range tomorrow. I took a long time to decide which spotter to buy and almost went with vortex and another overpriced euro brand. Those are very high quality items, and with the price, I would say they are worth the expense, right? In the end, after reading another user's review which compared the TALOS with two high end scopes with very little difference, I decided to go with the TALOS. I haven't been disappointed so far with the TALOS. You may want to buy the vortex or Swarovski sticker to put on your truck and save some money for the guns, brass, powder and other stuff. **Update**
RANGE @ 100 YDS WITH RIMFIRE EVERYTHING IS CREAM CLEAR. I will update soon with 200 and 300 yards.
This spotting scope is amazing to me, and I have to say that. Recently, I purchased an Athlon rifle scope and have been extremely pleased with it, so when I decided I wanted to purchase a spotting scope, I knew they would exceed my expectations once more. Although the glass is clear, it is hard to believe that it was so inexpensive. The images are crisp and clear. I don't want to say it's as good as a $1000+ spotting scope, but I have no problem getting clearer sight of impacts from 400 yards away. It is the perfect spotting scope for someone who is looking for a good scope at an affordable price.

Everything is very easy to use and the pictures are crystal clear. Viewing your images in several different shooting positions was made easier with the angled eye piece.
An adjustable tripod should be used instead of the scope stand.

Not true Taking a look at the deer and elk with my dad is one of our favorite things to do We can view the animals on our farm from this vantage point! A great zoom and clear picture quality make this a good product for viewing on a computer.
