How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

Adjustment for click value at 25 MOA, adjustment for total adjustment at 60 MOA, and adjustment for parallax at 10 yards to infinity
With fully multicoated optics, you get a brighter image in comparison to single coated lenses, as reflected light is reduced and the transmission of light is increased
It is waterproof to protect the scope from harsh weather conditions, or submersion in water if it is accidentally submerged
A heat treated one-piece tube gives the scope extra strength over a multi-piece tube. Another benefit of a single piece tube is that it is better at keeping moisture out, so your scope will be fog proof for a longer period
The reticle is etched onto the glass, and has excellent backing support for a complex reticle design it has a much higher shock resistance and is durable as well.

Questions & Answers

Could you please provide me with a sunshade?

The scope was not included in one I received

It holds up well on a pellet rifle that breaks the barrel?

This is the second of these scopes I have used. There are plenty of pellet rifles out there that are made to take 22 rimfire bullets, and I believe they are also very strong contenders for centerfire bullets.

Are the springs strong enough to resist a Mosin Nagant's recoil?

Mosin is not an issue, I have had this scope on a 586 savage and a 6mm, so I'm less concerned. The 5 Grendel AR does not come with a It still works great after all this time

AMD NEOS 4-core processor You can get accurate results at a low cost with 12x40! There has been a time where I was told "you get what you pay for" and in shooting sports, you can't use the word "cheap" with the word "accurate"
5/5

Being the hard-headed old codger that I am, I set out to see if I could As well as meeting my accuracy requirements), it was a rifle scope. Athlon NEOS 4-pro board is exactly what I was looking for as both "cheap" and "accurate", so I purchased it This 12x40 is on Amazon for just over $100 (and as usual, Prime shipping is As with any product, first impressions can set the stage for lifelong opinions. I was pleasantly surprised by my first impressions of the Athlon NEOS scope. There were two rare earth magnets that held the magnets closed on the full color cardboard "display" box. During transit, the scope was packaged in protective plastic with desiccant packs and cushioned at all ends with foam blocks made from high density urethane. Also included were a set of plastic lens covers (bra style), a cleaning cloth, and an owner's The scope was very good to excellent in terms of fit and finish. Turret caps -- well threaded and sealed with O-rings -- were all smooth, positive to rotate, and showed no slack or roughness. Adjustable side parallax, diopter adjustment rings, etc. , all exhibited smooth, positive operation. Buying any mechanical device is a bit of a gamble and the only real question is. . . Will it do what I bought it for? A series of tests and evaluations were run on it to answer that question. First, I tested the scope's center using a mirror and found that it was pretty much centered out of the box. As a next step I secured it to my leveling plate (think Surveyor's Transit with scope rail attached) at 50 yards and centered it up on the test chart of 3' x 2' MOAs. In order to ensure that there is no drift in the scale, I ran it up and down the magnification scale to check for When I adjusted the parallax from 10 yards to infinity, without looking at the knob, I used it to focus on the target, getting a distance of As I performed a 20 MOA "Box Test" using the elevation and windage knobs, the scope returned to zero each time. Finally, I extended the target out to 100 yards to check the actual point of aim (POA) change rather than the dial clicks. As a result of this test, the POA actually differed from the indicated value by approximately 14 MOA for every 10 MOA change in both windage and elevation, which was My scope passed all of my static tests with flying colors, so now it’s time for some range testing! I mounted and moved the scope between three of my most accurate hunting rifles, as well as fired three three-shot groups at 50, 100, and 200 yards. One of the rifles is a Browning Medallion. Win of a 308, a Browning Hell's Canyon Speed barreled to 6 psi. There are also 5 Creedmoors, as well as custom built AR-15s Approximately 15 inches in diameter. The 223 REM are all consistently sub MOA. In every instance, scope & elevation are consistent. I am writing on page 308 and am attaching. Those with a 6 have 223, whereas those with a 223 have 12 MOA. When I shot the rifles, the Nikon Monarch scopes I run on them did not show any difference in light transmission between the Athlon scope and the Nikon Monarch's I used. In my observation of the 200-yard target when viewed from a high magnification, there was a slight aberration on the glass outer two to five percent. Although this would be problematic over a long distance (over 600 yards), in a hunting scope, I found the level of distortion acceptable. As a result, it is an excellent scope that is economical for hunters on a budget. How long will it last? We won't know the answer until after we run it Finally, I have this to say about the scope of this study. A scope that is 50% as good at less than 10% of the cost will never match the quality of a top of the line scope, but it is a winner nonetheless! It is now up to me to fire another 1,000 rounds and see if it will last! EDIT Okay, just passed the 1,000 rounds test, and the rating is still a 5! It is mounted on my Samsung Despite shooting over a thousand rounds over 18 months, the 8 SPC still shoots accurate 1 MOA groups. So far I really like it, in fact I'm going to order another one for a new shirt. I have built the Valkyrie to 224!.

It's so amazing! the company RRI and we eliminate felt recoil from rifles, muzzleloaders, and shotguns, making the shooting sports more comfortable for disabled individuals, youth, and women and men who find heavy recoil uncomfortable

I am not your typical consumer or reviewer. As someone who tests hundreds of rifles and optics combinations each year, I find this generation of entry level optics nothing short of astonishing. This Athlon Neo is an upgrade over dozens of competing models that cost several thousand dollars. There is nothing one way about it, there is everything one way about it. Compared to any German glass I've ever used, this lens is more clear and transmits light, than any other. A windage and elevation control is accurate and repeatable, and it holds have no words to express how incredible this is!.

It's all here! The good, bad, and ugly! It's a good thing
5/5

I found that the optics were clear, held zero, and tracked well. There is a downside to everything. Using rubber bands to secure the lens covers. I hate it when I look at it. The round metal protrusion near the focus adjustment dial on the bottom of the scope interferes with the operation of a one-piece leupold base and standard medium height rings. Cost me my life to learn this lesson.
As much as I have in the scope I have in the rings and base. Update on SMSDH Fortunately, there's some good to be had. This morning, I had the opportunity to shoot long distance with my $69 scope I bought on sale. In 100 yard increments, I walked the target out to a 1000 yard distance, and then back to a 100 yard distance, and I verify A re-test of the box is then required Tracking should be evaluated. What a great job it did! I was pleasantly surprised. Although I had a couple of ah shucks, it is just as likely they were caused by the ammunition There's no good in it. These rubber band lens covers are a pain in the neck. Although a lifetime warranty is included with every pair of Butler Creeks, I don't see any point in spending $20 on a pair. I hate it when I look at it. It is a character behind the ocular lens who is shooting. This little scope is great! "

I like the clarity of this lens just as much as the one on A scope such as this will meet all the needs of a typical shooter. I have found that it is the best scope to have if you have needs like mine. In the area I live, most of the critters are shot at less than 150 yards. A 200-yard run. To me, that wasn't the point of putting a $2000 scope on a $350 rifle that I made a fool of myself with in the woods. No matter how custom the rifle I had, I never spent more on the eyepiece than I did on the rifle itself. The logic I follow is you can only get so much return out of your equipment, it can only play a limited role, and the rest will be decided by your The more time I spend shooting, the greater the return and the more enjoyment I receive. It would be very useful to have an Athlon Neos 4 You might as well spend the money you save on an Athlon Midas 1200 rangefinder, some bullets, and a trip to the range. Despite what you may think, you will not.

I think that is not bad at all! My rifle was currently a 3-shot bolt action, but I wanted to upgrade to a bolt action from its current 3-shot A zoom lens with a bit more magnification and objective focus on the side would be much better than the 9X40
5/5

It is in front of you. The price, warranty, and reviews immediately caught my attention, so I purchased it without hesitation in no time at all. The scope I chose matches my Savage 110 in 30-mm very well and is good looking and well made I did a good job on 06, thanks. I have tested its optics with my Nikon Prostaff and Bushnell Ultra HD scope, both of which have extremely clear and bright optics. Clarity of the sight picture at a distance of several hundred yards on 10-inch monitors Thanks to the objective focus, 12 power stands out like a blazing star. There is a stiffness to the magnification adjustment ring and the objective focus control out of the box, but after 25 minutes it will loosen. My 100-yard foresight allowed me to shoot the bullseye out of the sky within ten rounds. The results I received from this scope at this price point were impressive. As I cannot speak for the durability and function long term, I do see no reason why this scope won't last for several generations. I highly recommend it. Trust in the quality of the products you buy!.
