This one does not come in a thick plastic container like the Den, but just a cheap, thin plastic point of sale container that tears open easily?

You could probably use it either for smooth bore 12 gauges or rifled bore 12 gauges.

My mossberg shockwave 590 12 gauge already works well with this, but I was curious if it would also work with my ARC mini 12 gauge Would you please add 15 to that as well?

A score of 223 out of 5 is acceptable. Hoppe's has a bore snake for AR-15 so the answer is no. The 56 bore is smaller than the 12ga, so the answer is no.

This worked great and cleaned very well, but when I used the handle as instructed to pull it in through the barrel, the little brass aglet snapped

The pull handle can still be used, but I recommend that you not do so.

Being a new gun owner, I admit I know very little about them My friend recommended it since I own it. I only bought it after seeing it in a few Having been shown on how to use it on my shotgun by a friend, I can say I'm fairly pleased with its performance. took me to the barrel and showed me how to remove it. I observed that the barrel was lightly coated in crud and powder. He taught me how to pull it through after we applied a little Hoppes CLP. When I first looked at the cap I thought it was a cap (I didn't realize it actually was a T-shirt With the handle, it is easier to pull it through)

After two min I ran the barrel through three times and found that it was smooth and It was impressive for such a basic device. I returned it to the little storage container after letting it dry out. Also, it's cheap enough that you won't have to invest much in buying one if it gets corroded. I would like to thank Hoppe's for a wonderful.

This is ideal for a new owner of a firearm

Despite my young age and lack of knowledge of guns, I recently bought one. As far as my Mossberg 500 is concerned, I am enjoying it and taking good care of it. The product works efficiently and effectively to clean the bore of the gun. I researched the products thoroughly before purchasing any and I chose this one. It looks like it just came out of the store. This package includes a plastic storage case for your den

Boresnake has been a part of my life for quite some time. The updated version of the snake offered with the plastic case for storage was just what I needed for a new 12 gauge snake. Compared to the zippered clamshell cases I used to buy separately, this is far superior. It is also easy to clean and is more durable. As a result, I want all of my calibers to be compatible with this version.

It has older packaging, not the newer one with the handle and case

There are 4 snakes I own named Viper Bore, and they are all amazing. As described, however, this came in OLDER packaging. It did NOT come in the newer case with handle, as the picture in the description shows. The book is necessary even though the case doesn't come with it. This is because I did not include the case and handle so gave it a lower value.

I like it! It is easy to use and has good quality

As expected, it worked as expected in the field when used to clean a 12 gauge shotgun. As a bonus, they included a handling handle to pull the case with. I did not need to use it, but it also serves as the lid of the storage case. If I want to store or carry something, I like it to be in an elegant container.
