Boresnake Dens are made in Mexico by Hoppers.
As I feed the lead end (with the brass weight) through my 32" barrel, it extends beyond the end of the barrel.
It is typically used as a "quick clean" bore cleaner on the field during the seasons. After the season is completed, I give a good scrub brush and patches to the bore. The bore on my drilling rig has been free of rust and other issues for years. As these snakes are so cheap, I don't clean them, I reuse them again and again and instead of cleaning them, I discard them when they are too dirty.
Take stained work clothes or cleaning rags and wash it in the washing machine.

Here is another seller who advertises a product that is just different enough from the others to make us buy it. The colors shown are not the actual colors. It is thought that they do this to make sure people buy their own because it is a different color. As long as I didn't believe this was a lie or false advertising or whatever, it would be fine.
I wanted to be able to keep seperate snakes of the same caliber that I used different cleaning solutions for. But the one they advertise isn't as good as theirs. Still looks as if it can operate normally. It is the same white with green stripe we've always known. Although the color of the picture above indicates I bought this particular one rather than another. You're being sneaky dishonest! That's untrue and dishonest! It's not worth keeping.
If I wasn't ticked off every time I looked at it, I would send it back for their own money, It is so frustrating to get ripped off when buying products online.
Im certain they already have some reason in mind why their product advertisements are so unreliable. Many others do not suffer from this issue. What do you feel you need to.
When I first tried to clean mine, it broke at the point where the cord meets the swab. It was suggested I contact customer support for the product, but they haven't responded. Since three weeks have passed, I still haven't heard back from them. It will not be able to help me here. The pull cord I wound up tying around the squeegee for now, but don't waste your time trying to fix it, no one will stand behind their It's a good idea to buy a different one since the prices are fairly similar.
Having to tape it back onto the string to be able to get it through the barrel (Maybe a crimp like the older style would help? Although I was intrigued by the handle, I wasn't able to experiment with it due to the extra bulk of my tape fix. Although I watched a couple of videos that mentioned wrapping string around the handle before pulling, I was still able to successfully pull it through by hand. It is definitely a good idea to do When following the instructions on the box, I am not sure how to keep the plumb attached. -

The bore will be cleaned very well with this method. The task becomes so much easier if you use a short piece of wooden dowel to wrap the cord around, and then pull the dowel with your hand. You will need a 3/4-inch diameter dowel piece which should be about the same width as your hand.
