It is as simple as spraying Ballistol down the barrel for a few minutes, letting it sit, and allowing the Boresnake to run through twice. In the event you're shopping for one, the model that has the T handle is the better deal.

I bought two of these after a friend recommended them. Running it through my checked it out. There is a tight fit between the 450 bushmaster and the slider, and it slides easily back into the box. I bought two so that they don't get dirty quickly. It's a must have if you shoot for sport.
