Not sure. It is, however, extremely useful for cleaning firearms and restoring them to their original state.
I do, and I've done so for a long time. If you do, make a point of checking in every few weeks. In any case, you should.
I wish I could be of assistance, but I've never worked with wood before. Guns and knives were the only things I used it on.

This silicone-infused rag coats the firearm beautifully and enhances any finish. No problems with any finish; I even use it on the polymer frame, which looks great. I coat the gun, let it sit for a few minutes, and then wipe it clean. I keep my guns in a silicone gun sock that I keep in a soft case. When I take my firearms to the range, they always look brand new and get a lot of compliments.
The towels are of good quality; they don't feel wet, don't leave a film on my fingers, and clean up my G17 nicely. My gun's metal parts looked brand new after using the silicone, which also removed fingerprints and shined up the plastic parts. This is a good item to have on hand for anyone who wants to give their firearm one last whirl when they're finished cleaning it. It can also be used to polish up other metal objects around the house. To keep things fresh, put them in a bag.
Wipes for cleaning and protecting your firearm are excellent. They appear to be damp at first, but they are simply new and ready to use. They're substantial and thick. I've already used them on a variety of items, including tools, which they're also great for. When I'm in need of something, I'll buy it again.
What could possibly go wrong with this product? I use silicone cloth on all of my guns to keep them clean, prevent rust, and make them look nice. It's also water resistant. These are decent cloths, but I've tried a few others and can't tell the difference. It's a silicone cloth, and it'll do the job just as well as any other. I'd suggest it.
Great product that does exactly what I expected.
However, the fabric is quite large. The cloth is of good quality and is quite large, but it is a little more oily than I expected. It also leaves lint fibers, which you won't be able to wipe down or handle right away. After using the gun wipe, it needs to be wiped down with something dry right away; in fact, you could just use oil and a clean rag because it still needs a dry wipe down or it will become far too oily.
They're drenched in some kind of oil. This is something that should probably be mentioned in the product description. I imagined it to be similar to a non-residue-leaving glasses cleaning rag or cloth. Oil and residue from the rag are left behind. Because they're so wet, they need to be stored in a plastic bag.
It's a good product, but I'm not sure if it's prelubricated or not (the package didn't say), and it drew in a lot of moisture (or it was just the prelubrication in it), so my work bench was a little damp. Still, it's a good product that aids in the removal of dirt.
