Bags like these have been seen in some Asian nations where private security would carry their handguns along with additional magazines since it was normally too hot there to wear jackets with IWB holsters (open carry is not allowed in those countries). This bag is a good choice for carrying a handgun, as long as you do not want to use an IWB holster because Florida has the same sweltering heat. This bag is just the right size and has several pockets and compartments to store personal items. Although I bought it for myself, it now belongs to my wife, who likes it very much. Taking it to the range is what she uses it for. As much as I had hoped for a thicker, more holster-like grip on the handgun, it is actually just a thick elastic band which keeps it in place, and so does the magazine strap, but I would’ve prefered something a bit more substantial.
