Questions & Answers

Is there a total of three shelves?

When you buy the SNAPSAFE 4 Gun Pistol Rack, you'll get 1. Although the image depicts three, we only ship quantity one.

Is there any way to find out how tall the pistol would be in the rack?

That will be determined by the pistol. The rack has a 5-inch depth. My Ruger Super Blackhawk stands a quarter-inch tall. From the bottom of the rack to the highest point of the pistol, which is the rear sight, the 44 Mag sits 6" high in the rack. A pistol with a smaller frame may not even be able to rise above the rack's frame.

Is it possible to store a Ruger LCP on this rack?

Yes, it should fit, but it's a good idea to check the gun rack's specifications against the Ruger LCP to make sure.

Is there any way to find out how tall the pistol would be in the rack?

Of course, it depends on whether you mean a semi-automated or fully automated system. A revolver or an automatic pistol. With my heaviest revolver, a S&W, I'm ready for anything. If you put the gun in the rack right side up, it will be 1" above the top of the rack, while if you put it in the rack bottom side up, it will be 3" above the rack. A semi- When an automatic pistol, such as a Colt Gov't Model 45 ACP, is placed bottom side up in the rack, it sits 3" above the top of the rack.

It Works
4/5

It is reasonably priced. What More Could You Ask For? I purchased an 8-pack of cigarettes. After researching various styles and manufacturers, I decided on a gun rack. I realized I already had the 6-pack when I received it. The gun rack is made by the same company. I've been on the 6-month plan for quite some time now. For at least 5-guns, there is a gun rack. 6 years. It simply sits and holds guns, which is incredible! br>br>Listen, this is a fairly basic item that will most likely (hopefully) be the cheapest in your safe. Having said that, I don't see why you should spend more money. I read some of the negative reviews and think that those people shouldn't be allowed to own guns because this rack has virtually no flaws. br>br>The following are the only reasons I did not give it five stars: The name of the manufacturer is not displayed on the rack. It would have saved me SO much time if I could have just looked at the one I already had and done a name search. My S& W 629 . The slots for the 44 Magnum barely fit. As in: Both sides of the cylinder are in contact. I don't think this is a problem because the rack is coated. If you prefer Ruger SuperDuper Red, however, this is the gun for you. The Chicago Blackhawks are currently in the NHL playoffs. Yes, if it's a 650 Nuclear Magnum that weighs more than a 1960 Dodge Charger. If you're looking for a rack to hang your clothes on, this isn't it. (Yes, I am aware that I have a 1911 problem. ) I'm on the lookout for some assistance.

It's a solid and dependable piece of equipment
5/5

I purchased a few of these to stock a gun safe. They have a nice vinyl covering to keep them from scratching and are quite heavy-duty. duty. They're never going to bend on their own. I gave the same review to the device's other capacity model. br>br>They're a nice way to store multiple handguns in a small space, but you'll need to make sure you have enough room for the legs' footprint. br>br>There are two "gotchas" that you should be aware of. br>br>The first consideration is the size of the individual gun openings. The cylinders on an SMG are about the same size as the openings on a rifle. Because the W Model 28 and Ruger Blackhawk are slightly too wide for the openings, they hang up instead of dropping into place. I believe you could bend the rack slightly to fix this, but it would be difficult. It doesn't make the guns any more unstable, so I'm just leaving them on the rack side; they're only an inch above their intended resting point and are perfectly stable. The second is for small weapons, such as the Llama. S or 22 If the handgun is set in place right side up, W Shield, the barrel might not be long enough to span the front to back opening. The solution is to place it in the rack upside down, in such a way that the gun forms a "V" shape and spans the gap. br>br>Overall, these are a great deal, offer secure and stable storage, and are well-designed.

Big Bore revolvers are not allowed
3/5

I just got these. Regrettably, I've begun the RMA process. br>br>They appear to be well-made. sturdy, but they didn't work for me because of two factors! br>br>1 - If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "innov I have a 40 gun safe and measured the shelf they were supposed to go on; according to the measurements, it was going to be a tight fit, but it was just wider than the shelfs would allow. 2- br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b I own a few 357 revolvers with a large bore. 10mm), and the "slots" were far too small to accommodate them. The slots were adequate for smaller frame revolvers, but I needed them to fit everything I own in one place. br>br>If you have semi-autos or small revolvers, I would HIGHLY recommend these, but they were not what I was looking for, so I will try a different brand.

It works! Fits on the top shelf of my flimsy Stack-On bookcase
5/5

On the shelf. Even when no handguns are attached, the rubber feet keep it from moving. It's perfect for my Desert Eagle. It even makes room for magazines and other items beneath it. This is an excellent product.

It's not going to work with a 44 mag
3/5

Does not fit the 44mag, the world's most popular revolver. All of the legs on the Chyneese were crooked. A typical Chyneese product with cancer warnings on it. The item must be returned in its original packaging. They will charge you if they damage the original clamshell riveted brittle plastic. Cutting or prying is the only way to get rid of this type. That's a little lame, to be honest. Isn't it just a basic item? Put it in the gun safe, it'll be fine. Plastic should be removed. Start putting pistols in; oh no, the 44mag isn't going to fit. It takes a few days for the return to be approved, and then it's on its way. Btw, if the package is damaged on a universal product, we will charge you. Lame. If it's not prime kids, don't buy it.

The two-gun version, on the other hand, should be fine
5/5

It can easily hold two RIA 1911s and two CZ 75bs. Due to a lack of space in my gun safe, I had to put it on the bottom two shelves. It's a little wide for smaller safes, but the two-gun version should fit just fine. br>br>It's incredibly simple, sturdy, and works well for full-size through compact guns; I tried it with my LC9s and it held them, but it seemed like it might fall through if jostled, so it might not be ideal for pocket guns; I haven't tried it with any outsize handguns like Desert Eagles or Super Redhawks simply because I don't have any. However, for the vast majority of handguns, it's fine, very affordable, and extremely durable. And I didn't have to do any of the work!.

It was just a little off
4/5

While I wish I could give these five stars, I must deduct one because if you own any S The rack on W N Frame revolvers is a little too small for the cylinder. (My L, K, and J frames all fit perfectly. ) Now some of the slots are a little wider, allowing you to push the revolver into place. The problem could be solved by simply widening the slot by an eighth of an inch. Now I'm in the middle of my semi-professional career. 1911's, automatic pistols, and my M1 Garand When the P series is stored upside down, it is more secure. Overall, they're an excellent addition to any gun safe for storing handguns.

Organized, secure, and at a great price! I bought two 6-packs of cigarettes
5/5

(2) 4-gun racks and (2) 4-gun racks They fit perfectly on two shelves in my gun safe. They're sturdy, and they fit all of my pistols and revolvers perfectly. The coating on the racks is thick enough to provide scratch resistance for a lifetime. My safe is now organized by caliber, allowing me to quickly find what I'm looking for. For even easier access, I labeled the shelves beneath each gun. I used to use wire hangers, which were also attractive, but attaching the hanger's end to a couple of the smaller barrel bores was time-consuming. The most significant advantage was the cost: $22 for a set of (1) 6 and (1) 4 with no tax or shipping? That price is difficult to beat.
