I bought these to go with my Savior Equipments Rifle Racks. The plastic dividers aren't the same color as the metal, but they're close enough to stand out, and some of them have spots where they appear to have been snapped apart from a larger sheet, but they're on the bottom and out of the way. I ordered three of these, and as I was putting the third together, I noticed that the foam had a chunk missing from the edge and a gouge in the back. If I were a perfectionist, I would have returned this, but it's holding tools, so it'll get beat up. Although the plastic is a little flimsy, it serves its purpose. Everything from snub nosed is kept in this bag. From a full-size 1911 or Sig P226 to a 357 or a Walther P22. Please keep in mind that if your handgun has a weapon mounted light, it will be pushed off the back edge or sit at an odd angle. Overall, I'm quite happy. It was very easy to put together.

It is designed to fit full-size semiautomatic pistols and revolvers (with plenty of room for the cylinder on full-size semiautomatic pistols and revolvers). size SW). Depending on the grip angle, barrels longer than 6" may be a little long. I bought a four-slot machine to try out, but I'll be buying a few more eight-slot machines in the future. These are far superior to the standard wire pistol racks. br>The only thing I'd like Savior to include is a hard spot on the facing side for labels indicating which pistol goes where. My labels might not stick to the foam, so I'm not sure. br>I'll be buying more of these and recommending them to everyone I know.

It comes well packaged, is simple to assemble, is reasonably priced, and is sturdy enough to hold eight pistols while also allowing you to remove the entire rack from your safe. br>br>On these, the only thing that needs to be done differently is to make a SIX slot version. The 8 is too large to fit in any of my safe's shelves except the top two, and the 4 leaves empty space on both sides of the lower shelves. If I bought threaded rod, I could make two 6s out of a 4 and an 8, but I'd prefer to have that standard size as a factory option.

(It isn't even modular. ) It's a beautiful and functional pistol rack. Many similar products only have 1" slots, so the 2" slots are a significant feature. The pistols will be so crammed together in 5" slots (which is the typical width of many modern pistols) that fitting your hand between them to pull one out will be difficult; the extra room of this one makes it easier to use. br>br>They don't say it's modular, but it's implied, and the design appears to be so. However, this is not the case. Through rods are used to connect the pieces. Only the very end of the rods is threaded. If you have those expensive tools and die, there is no way to remove slots from through rods without fabricating and cutting new threads. (My safe only has seven slots, but I wanted six. ) To make matters worse, the rods and end caps are of poor quality; the threads are so badly cut that the end caps screw on crooked and will not thread all the way down. br>br>I spent $20 at the hardware store to replace all of the poor-quality hardware, and I used full-length threaded rods that I could cut to remove slots and turn this into a 6-slot rack. Even if you want all 8 slots and don't want to customize it like I did, the end caps on the rods won't tighten down far enough and will most likely be crooked. This may cause the entire rack to become loose, detracting from its attractive appearance.

This is a fantastic little device. The one I saw before this was made entirely of foam that had been glued together. Steel plates and rods are attempting to assemble everything. Your guns will only come into contact with foam and plastic, so they will not be scratched. If I ever need another, I'll buy it again without hesitation.

No, it isn't the tiniest, most space-saving pistol rack, but it is, in my opinion, the best. From a 6 inch to a 12 inch, it holds it all equally well. To my 22 pistols, I have a 357 to a Desert Eagle. It has completely decluttered my safe's top shelf. I intend to buy a second one in the near future. Don't be on the fence about it. This company nailed it and delivered a fantastic product.
