All rare earth material and magnets are imported from China, which is the only place where rare earth exists.
Although it is 3M, the screws are also required. Without the screws, I couldn't use it with my Glock 19.
Nope. The rubber side has a strong magnetic field, whereas the other side has none. Adhesive tapes were the only thing I used. For full-size Glock 17, press with some effort for a while, then leave them alone for two days.
I was able to put a Taurus 942 revolver on this magnet without any problems.br>br>I mean, it really holds!

It's a great product that I recommend. WARNING: I'm carrying 38 rt on my person. My son "assisted me in unpacking the two magnets before putting them together to see how "strong" they are. Allow me to share some information with you; We're two powerful "logger/construction" types with Gorilla-like grip strength. It literally took the Almighty God's hand to separate these things!! The only stronger magnet I've ever seen was at a junk yard, and it was attached to a train track. It was powered by electricity and operated on a hoe. AN AMAZING PRODUCT!.
This magnet is very appealing to me. It was purchased so that I could secure two of my pistols in a wall safe. The magnet has a great deal of power. I used the 3M style double-sided tape that came with the kit. I installed it and waited a day or two for it to settle in. For about three days, everything was fine after I mounted my pistols. br>br>In the middle of the night, I am awakened by a loud metal bang. The magnet had managed to detach itself from the wall. Because of this, I deducted a star. To mount this magnet, I intend to drill the back of the safe and use screws.
Magnets are a beast, as I discovered when I tried one on my gun. It took a lot of effort to get it free. I am a lefty. It's mounted on the left side of my vehicle's passenger seat. It's perfect because it's easy to reach and the gun comes off easily thanks to the magnet. I would strongly suggest it.
the force of attraction When I first pulled my, the tape came off on one side. It will be reduced by 40 percent. br>As a result, the magnet is far too powerful, and the tape is unable to keep up. I really didn't want to have to drill holes in my expensive car, but it's the only way to make this work. EDIT: br>br> Reducing one star to two because the OTHER magnet was installed in the F250, and that, too, was successfully removed using only the tape the first time. It doesn't seem to matter how powerful the magnet is if one of the two ways it's supposed to be used fails.
Despite the fact that my weapon is small and light, I am confident that it is capable of holding much heavier weapons. I put one under my car's steering wheel and the other on the side of my bedside table. Mine didn't come with adhesives, but I wouldn't rely on adhesives alone; it did, however, come with plenty of screws to secure the magnets. I'm a huge fan of these, and they ensure that my weapon is always ready to use.
It was intended to be used to conceal a pistol within a safe. The back of the safe is not magnetized, so it can't be used because it's already mounted in the wall. br>br>The front side has a lot of power. My child thought it would be amusing to put it on the refrigerator. My wife did not find it amusing because it required a screwdriver and a lot of force to remove. The surface of the stainless steel appliance has been ruined.
They have a good grip on my guns. They're covered in a kind of plastic or rubber to keep the magnet from scratching your gun's finish. They come with two screw lengths for mounting and an extra stop of 3M tape, which I recommend not using. If you try to remove it, it will remove both paint and drywall. I've placed several of them in strategic locations throughout my house. They're small and well-made, so they're easy to conceal. They come highly recommended from me.
These magnets have a lot of power. The weapon and the magnet don't interact at all. This is an item that I would purchase again.
