They are fantastic. I absolutely love these and have already placed an order for more.
The material is of excellent quality! but . The 90 degree off set is far enough out that the pistol will swing like a flag in the wind unless you position it so that it is leaning against something to keep it still. To make it fit properly, I discovered that you'll need a longer barrel. I tried with my compacts, but they don't fit snugly unless the metal is cut or the chamber is empty. I tried it with a revolver and got the same result. For a good fit, I'll have to leave the chamber empty. Otherwise, the pistol is top-heavy, and if accidentally bumped, it could fall out, over, or off.
22-caliber pistol Normally, I use magnets to secure my firearms to the wall, but the slide on my M1A1 isn't magnetic. Aluminum is used to make the 22 compact. When I put my pistol on it after mounting it to the wall, it immediately rotated down and the pistol slid off. The tack weld on the back, as seen in the photo and video, had little to no penetration. The pistol is 15 pounds in weight. 3 oz. I didn't treat it badly. Once the pistol was hung on the wall, I didn't pull it out. I didn't do anything to the mount other than secure it to the wall with screws. I'm going to install it after rewelding the mount. Just be careful who you buy from. I saw the photos in the other reviews and decided that this was the best option. And while it may be true for some, it was fortunate for me that it was only a. I was one of the 22 who was hit. If it had been a more expensive gun that had fallen to the ground, it would have broken my heart.
I'm hesitant to use these for two reasons after receiving them. To begin with, there's something unsettling about inserting this into the barrel of my fully loaded pistol. Second, with this stuck in the pistol's barrel, it just flops around. The device is covered in a hard powder coating. I'm not concerned that it will harm the barrel's interior, but it could- I also don't like how the pistol just swings around on the device; however, it does what it's supposed to do, so it could be just me.
For smaller pistols, it works fine. This product isn't quite as good as I had hoped for. My 5" M was hung on the wall. P removed it and discovered it to be wobbly, necessitating the removal of the rubber tubing covering the metal rod. Its OK. I'm on the lookout for a more suitable alternative.
This product fulfills my requirements and has a nice appearance. My only complaint is that the screws were only about 3/4" long, which is too short for sheet rock. I contacted the seller, who assured me that longer screws would be sent. In any case, I got by and am pleased with the end result.
Hangers are fantastic. When I got my order, it was only half full. When I contacted Hold Up Displays, they quickly dispatched the remainder of the order. These hangers, as you can see, are supporting a variety of heavy hardware. Ruger Blackhawk is a semi-automatic rifle that was developed by Ruger in Ruger Single-Stack 357 Six . Ruger Vaquero is a 22 caliber pistol. Llama, Llama, Llama, Llama, Llama, Ll 38 SPL.
These were purchased for my wife's 308 Special revolver and her 380 semi-automatic pistol. auto. Both guns have 2 inch barrels and are short barreled. Because these holders are only about 6 inches long, her guns dangle loosely from the bracket's end. The bracket rests against the chambered bullet and places the gun's weight directly on the bullet when it is in a vertical position. br>At the end of the day, I decided to order some magnetic mounts.
