Exactly what I had hoped for. I came in from Esstac quick and straight! This was a great product! It came in a good package and was well made. It is obvious, if you are reading this, that you were looking for what you found. The best deal with Prime shipping over SKD Tactical and other vendors! A deal like that is hard to beat! I own HSGI carriers but this one is much better. I plan to upgrade all my equipment eventually.
I've never been so happy with a mag pouch. HSGI has been my main job for years, as well as a few G-rated jobs There are a lot of Esstacs that are better than code. As regards aesthetics This is not a contest of beauty. It's a contest of function, ease of drawing a magazine, and reusability It has an insertable mag, retention, and is easy to attach to a carrier or a war belt. Each is superior to the other.
It does exactly what it's designed to do. There are no malice clips included. A slight separation between the pouches keeps them from bunching up and stiffening up, perfect for use as a belt set.
I really like how this design came out. Due to its thickness and greater weight, it is probably better suited to block I have found that it holds P365XL mags pretty well, but I would not use it for anything In PMAG 5, we discuss the following points. There is no room for error with these 56 mags. The malice clips allow it to attach nicely to molle. While I haven't trained in the field with it yet, I can see that the stitching on this is excellent and the whole thing is well made. I received a green color that is not the same as the color of my OD green gear but it's As soon as the ammo gets better, I'd like to use this mag holder for some two gun training. It has so far been a good experience.
They make some of the best AR pouches I've ever used. There are some good features about this one, but I am not satisfied with the pistol mag retention. I have tried several different brands of double stack magazines. Simply put, we don't retain as much as we should. As for the retention on the AR mag, it is perfect so I do not know what the problem is. It may be better to get the taller version and see if it helps. I'm looking at the medium version.
I would highly recommend getting the gap version if you plan on wearing it directly to your belt, such as a Ronin Belt. Otherwise, if you and your teammates plan on wearing it on your battle belt, then the gap version is best so the mag pouch can move more freely. In any case, this is a great product! I will probably get the gap version of it so that the pouch can bend to accommodate.
Due to its cloth exterior, it makes a almost silent impact, and the kydex liner ensures that it retains its power. It would be nice if there were other color options on.
The nylon mag carriers made by Esstac are one of the best in the industry. They are very robust and durable, so I have them on my duty belt when transitioning. A magazine holder that holds your magazines.
