No, it isn't an overabundance. I bought a military surplus can, and this one is brand new and of the same high quality as the military surplus can.
11 inches wide by 7 inches tall by 4 inches deep
They don't have a way to lock the individual ammo cans, which is unfortunate. What I do is put my ammo in cans, label them, and then store them in a locked Ammo Cabinet. For between $250 and $600, you can get a decent Ammo Cabinet; the best advice is to get one that locks and can be bolted down. Some people also suggest making sure it has some sort of airflow or vent holes so that if it catches fire, the pressure will not build up.

Man, you have a great can! I now have a fantastically strategic spot to keep all of my jelly beans!.
There isn't any water inside. They're a good size because they're not as tall as the original military issue. I prefer the shorter height because it fits better in the space where they were purchased.
Isn't this some kind of deception? They're old, battered ammo canisters. br> They are promoting themselves as being brand new. br>I require a refund of my funds.
Overall, the product is well-made. The black was what I requested. Metal, well-hinged, well-painted, and watertight. So far, the handle appears to be sturdy. I have a maximum of 700 rounds of 9mm boxes (50x14 boxes) inside, with more 22LR or 380 boxes likely to be added. Another one will be purchased.
In general, the construction is excellent. There is no logo. Weakness in the handle. I'm storing 1 x 20-foot length of 5/16" chain G70 chain in a black Huarui metal ammo case container. This is a good match. Takes up about 50% on the inside of the building. Note: These aren't particularly substantial cases. The weakest part of the bag is the top carry handle, which weighs 5 pounds when empty. 6 lbs. The weight of the chain alone is 20 pounds. 8 lbs. There is a total weight of 26 pounds. The handle design, which is the weakest part of this case, allows for a maximum carrying weight of 4 lbs. The case appears to be fairly well-made in general. Steel thickness isn't up to WWII standards, but it'll suffice. It's great that the case isn't branded. On the case, there is no need or desire for a name. I would purchase this item again. Concerned that the handle will snap. If you're carrying more than 25 pounds in total, I'm worried the handle will break down over time.
This ammo can was of exceptional quality, with a perfect lid gasket. I had a surplus of army cans, but this one was top-notch. There were no dents, no gasket cuts, and a good coat of black paint. I'll return for more when I need a high-quality new can.
There is a black version available. I spray painted another can, and the paint does not come close to the quality of this one. It's been holding up pretty well so far. I'm extremely happy.
