In a sense, that's the advantage of awesafe. The safe is built to a high, sturdy standard in a well-designed metal enclosure and looks much better than other lock boxes of this size and price. I like how responsive the touch keypad is and how well the fingerprint scanner works. With the fingerprint scanner, you can actually store up to 30 different prints, so you could use multiple fingers from both hands to open the safe, and your spouse (or anyone else) could program their fingerprints to gain I love the blue interior lighting (and the main reason I chose the safe over comparable models). Setup was a cinch and I only had to set up a keypad code and program fingerprints for me and my wife in five minutes. You can use it to grab your gun (or valuables) in the middle of the night without compromising your night vision. It's not super bright, but it will let you grab valuables in the middle of the night without a problem. A thick foam padding is inside the safe and we feel that it has a very high quality feel. As soon as you place your finger on the fingerprint scanner, the safe will open (within a few seconds). Battery power is provided by 4 AA batteries for the light and keyboard. The charger also comes with a low battery indicator so you can know when to replace It's a great product all in all.

The first time I tried to close it, I thought there were a few issues, but I found that you had to shut it down more forcefully than I expected. There must be a snap closure. According to the only 1 star review, I thought any fingerprint would work, but I hadn't cleared the defaults as I was going to use it for my daughter. Now she can't open it and that's why I bought it. The safe is very nice.

Biometric locks are useless, so there is no point in having one. You can open it by simply pressing the fingerprint reader if you have a pulse. The instructions told me how to program my right index finger. It is sturdy, straight to the point, and seems very durable. The second safety box I've made. The other device is a larger amazon tablet that I've used for a few years now. I got this safety box for my first gun, and I must say the product appears to be of good quality. Programming and setting up the device is very simple and easy. It allows us to program 4 fingers for each of us Generally, I think it can hold up to 30, but I haven't tested it to see how high it can go. It is built as well as my other one, so it's not cheap. Ultimately, Storage Capacity is just right for what the system is intended to do. In this bag, I can fit my Glock19, 2 magazines, and a small box of ammunition. On this device, the fingerprint scanner is perhaps the weakest point. While it was easy to set up each finder, I am not certain if it accepts if anything else is part of the original scan that wasn't in the original Other worse, in order to get the best results, position your finder dead in the middle. I have found that if I pull my finger back too much and scan more of the tip or sides, or get lazy with my finger movement, the finder won't accept the print, so scan dead center and get a full print, not a partial one. It takes a little practice to figure out, but once you do, it's very easy.

Do I recommend it, The answer is yes. I would purchase it again. If I had to pay more for an upgraded fingerprint scanner in the next version, I would do so.

I have found the second one to work really well. Last updated Awesafe gun safes are getting more and more common. As far as I know, this one works fine. A password code and a fingerprint code can both be implemented well, even though they are difficult to code. It was these issues that originally troubled me. It is a safe to recommend at this time. My husband and I purchased this safe for our bedroom. It is sturdy and heavy. After programming, the password is not always valid. It will open occasionally only. It would be impossible to rely on the safe to open in the event of an emergency and needing our gun. There is a biometric fingerprint that can be opened by Getting the program to print out was the last hurdle, but was unable to accept our fingers I will return this safe in favor of one that is more reliable.
