My bell has never caused me any problems. It's tough and has withstood the rigors of a busy laboratory. We go on off-leash hikes in the woods, and I adore this bell. I'm always aware of my furry companion's whereabouts.

The height of this bell is 1 7/8".
It's what I use to keep track of my German wirehaired bird dog. I slid it into her collar and secured it with a buckle. It has never failed to come off for me. On my beagle, I apply it in the same way. When the bell rings, both dogs jump up and down!

Please see the photos and video that I have attached! Please accept my apologies in advance for the video, as I am completely obsessed with cuteness. The bell can be heard ringing at the end of the video. br>br>The bell appears to be of good quality, and now that Halloween is over, we've hung it on the back door handle so the dogs can swat it to let us know when they need to go out.
When I first saw it, I thought it was fantastic; On non-working days, I could keep track of my lab. It warned small animals and birds when she ran at them on her leash walks through woods and fields. The leather strap is sturdy, and the bell tone is just right for me, but the small ring inside that holds the clapper is too flimsy. The clapper had simply fallen off somewhere in the field after two months. Regrettably, I had hoped to give this made-for-television movie a chance. However, I am unable to give the USA product a positive review. I wish that more people would leave reviews after using a product for a while, rather than just when they first get it out of the box.
When we went for a walk in grizzly country, we put these on our two dogs and they worked perfectly. The ringing was loud and clear, and it could be heard from a long distance. They're also extremely tough, as evidenced by the fact that they didn't have their collars torn or ripped off while traversing dense brush. I strongly advise- Bears are much more dangerous than bells.
Bell and strap are of good quality. I've had it in my lab for a few months and it's still going strong. It's a small bell with a light weight. It doesn't have the deeper cow bell sound that I was hoping for. If that helps, I'd compare the sound to that of a dinner bell. It is loud enough to be heard from a distance of 50-100 meters. In the woods, it's 90 yards. For upland bird hunting, I use it on my dog to keep him from going further than 100 yards. This is working well, but I'm thinking of getting a slightly larger one to achieve a deeper tone.
I have a five-month-old Spaniel who enjoys running and swimming. I walk her over to my pond and show her around. She goes for runs, swims, and walks through the woods. I'm completely at ease. When the noise stops, I turn around, look around, and quickly locate her. It's on a separate collar that I keep just for pond adventures!.
I got this bell after running into a pack of coyotes while hiking with my dog and getting a recommendation from a Hiking with Dogs group. This bell is extremely loud and effective. We're no longer surprising the wildlife! Because it is quite loud, I wear it on my own rather than on my dog because I believe it would harm her ears (she wears a smaller bell). Anyone who enjoys the outdoors but is wary of unexpected predators will enjoy this game.
This bell was purchased to accompany my Vizsla on her first partridge hunt in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The bell rang loudly and clearly, and it could be heard from a long way away. The dog did not find it to be bothersome or distracting. I would recommend this dog bell because of the good quality, reasonable price, and ideal size.
The metal piece on the inside was held in place by an inner loop, which had broken. I tried bending the loop back together and replacing it with other objects, but my german shorthair must cause a lot of damage out in the field. This is not something I would recommend to another owner of an aggressive hunting dog.
