The Pro C is a craft/construction knife, but it can also be used as an entry-level knife. The Pro C has a carbon steel blade with a Scandinavian grind that is easy to re-sharpen, making it an excellent outdoor recreation knife. sharpen. When using a carbon steel blade, extra caution should be exercised when oiling the blade, especially in humid environments. The Pro C is an excellent all-around tool.

There's no reason why you shouldn't have a few on hand
5/5

The C series of the Craftline S are excellent knives in general. The grip configuration with finger guard and blade length are the main differences between these and the Companion series. The "C" stands for carbon, and the "S" stands for stainless, in case you're unfamiliar with Mora knives like I was: Mora carbon knives have a red color and Mora stainless knives have a blue color if they are colored in any way. If you're having trouble deciding between the various Mora Knives models, start here: YouTube is another excellent resource. br>br>I have six Mora Knives in my collection. Some of them will almost certainly be given to friends. They have a good reputation. I don't know why I haven't kept a good knife in each of my vehicles over the years. I do now. There are also fire starters. Mira products have received rave reviews from customers all over the world. They aren't perfect, nor are they obsessive-worthy knives like the Ka-Ka-Ka-Ka-Ka-Ka-Ka-Ka-Ka-Ka- Knives of Alaska, Bar, Kershaw, Boker, Bench Made, etc. However, they stand out in terms of value. Lose one? It will cost you eighteen dollars to replace it, as opposed to more than eighty dollars. Excellent quality at a reasonable price.

In the field, it's sharp and keeps my hand out of harm's way
5/5

I used it for deer hunting, but as you can see in the photo, patinaing the carbon steel is critical because it rusts easily otherwise. Using long kitchen tongs and a cotton pad, I heated vinegar and applied it to the knife. br>br>It was fairly sharp when it was sent, but it sharpens up after some honing and wet blocking! My father, who is a die-hard buck knife fan, exclaimed, "Wow. " After using it for a short time, I wiped it clean with a rag to remove the blood, then washed, dried, and oiled it.

Underrated Knife: This is a well-designed knife that is one of the safest for hard use and heavy use
5/5

The quillon guard prevents you from having a death grip while hard at work with the knife, such as pushing it or cutting shavings from a rich lighter to start a camp fire. Tasks where a lot of force is applied to cut and pushing it to its limits to cut without wearing out the hand and arm because the quillon guard allows the hand to be more relaxed knowing that it is preventing slippage forward and backward. The 511, Mora Robust, and this Pro C all have the same guard and are safer than those who don't. The pinch grip can be used with this quillon grip, but not with other knives that don't have it, to create a flicking motion with increased velocity to cut twigs off a limb, cut a tip on a tent stake, and so on. However, for light duty, use what you have on hand, such as steak and tomatoes for stringing and boxes.

Excellent value for money! The Morakniv is a fantastic knife that is well-made and will last a long time, with a handle that fits perfectly in the hand and a blade that feels like an extension of the hand
5/5

As a tradesman, I've seen these knives for years but never paid them much attention because they don't look as cool as other knives. After that, I got one, and it has since become my go-to knife. My first Mora is still going strong after all these years, and I've added a few more to my collection. These knives are meant to be used, not displayed, in order to get the job done. The functionality and practicality of these knives are what make them so appealing. br>br>To help you understand the differences between the similar models, the Pro C is the Morakniv line's middle ground and, in my opinion, the best compromise of strength and agility. The Craft Line Basic has a smaller blade than the Pro C, but it is the same thickness. The Craft Line Robust is similar in appearance to the Pro C, but the blade is thicker. The only difference between the Craft Pro S and the Craft Pro is that the blade is made of stainless steel rather than carbon steel.

Fantastic pack knife for the money! I own a lot of knives, and this model outperforms many of my higher-end ones in terms of edge retention, utility, and durability
5/5

This is almost always the first knife I reach for when I need one, and I've backpacked nearly 500 miles with it dangling off my pack (not recommended unless you modify the sheath to retain the knife harder than I did). Let us discuss the advantages and disadvantages of this incredible knife. br>br>Pros:
1. ) Sharpening and keeping the edge- It will keep its edge longer than other knives in this price range because it is a carbon blade. Furthermore, because it has a scandi grind, it is easier to sharpen than most other microbevel blades.
2. Ergonomics is a term that refers to the study of how people interact with their While it's a little cramped for me on the handle because of my large hands, it's ergonomically sound for people with average-sized hands.
3. ) Grip- I've used this knife in the rain, mud, and snow several times without losing my grip. In most conditions, the polymer and rubberized coating used on this knife provide excellent grip. I used this jokingly while freshwater diving (highly NOT recommended), and there was some slippage while I was submerged.
4. ) Stability - I've dropped it, smacked it against rocks (not recommended), and otherwise abused this poor knife, and it's still almost brand new with a few blemishes here and there. Carbon steel is extremely durable, especially once it has developed a patina. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product.
1. ) Slightly too small for massive sasquatch hands, with the heel of the handle digging into the kindling if I use it that way.
2. ) The sheath is nearly useless. It's cheap (what do you expect for this price?) and doesn't keep the blade in place very well. I modified mine a little with a heat gun, and it now works fantastically.
3. ) If you don't know how to care for a carbon blade, it will rust, and you might end up damaging it due to neglect. br>4. ) It's not so much a con as it's more of a personal preference, but it's a rat tail tang rather than a full, which could lead to breakage down the road, but I haven't had that experience yet. br>br>Overall, this is an excellent backpacking, hiking, and outdoor enthusiast knife for new and experienced backpackers, hikers, and outdoor enthusiasts. I will continue to use Morakniv knives because of their excellent quality for the price and excellent utilitarian designs, and I cannot recommend this knife highly enough.
