My Tile Sport had just recently been retired due to its most significant issue that was also continuously reminded when the battery was due for replacement. Battery that can be replaced. It is however fair to say that the Tile Sport is more stylish and rugged than the Tile There is no guarantee that the Rinex will be affected by any of these. Due to concerning battery issues and intermittent connection problems, however, I am revising my decision. As can be seen by the picture, the housing looks larger and slightly thicker than the (larger and thicker) Tile Sport. The housing has both speaker openings and a separate housing, therefore it is not waterproof. In the vast majority of cases, it sounds worse than it should be. In any case, it is attached to my car keys, with the key fob not being fond of water Keep the Tile in mind if you're planning a kayaking trip or any other adventure. *)After downloading the dedicated app, pairing (iOS12) worked just fine. In the plastic case, there was a circle of rust left by a corroded battery. Luckily, I was able to find a replacement battery, cleaned it up, and now it works again. However, that was a lot of trouble for something that should have worked It is a global positioning system. When you're traveling, it's highly unlikely that someone with the same GPS tracker will be in your vicinity at close range. Bluetooth is short-range and is not likely to be used overseas. It is much better to have a GPS system as a back-up. In contrast to many other throwaway items, the battery can be changed. The fact that I was asked to do it immediately was appreciated, despite my insistence on it immediately.
