It has a usable area of about 12"x8". It could hold two 1911-style pistols or a 7.62x39mm pistol. SAA 5" Colt.

What is the maximum length of a password?

The password can have a minimum of four digits and a maximum of six digits.

Is it possible to store a G19 gen 5 mos and a G17 gen 5 mos in this gun safe?

Yes, but if you want to run lights on them, you'll need more space.

Is it resistant to fires?

Do not be duped by a market advertisement. The majority of pistol safes can only withstand temperatures of 600°F, while a house fire can reach temperatures of 800-degrees. 1800℉.

My wife and I have submitted an application to become foster parents. Both of us grew up with guns and learned how to use them safely. One of the requirements of becoming foster parents was that we have a safe for our bedside pistols. This one received a lot of positive feedback. The use of a fingerprint was appealing to me. Unfortunately, the fingerprint did not read when our doorbell rang at 2 a. m. on a Thursday morning, and I went to see who it was. I had to get the key because the code wouldn't work. If it had been a matter of defending my home, I would have been better served by purchasing a baseball bat. Perhaps a more expensive one would be better, but this was the only time I needed it. I had my hopes dashed. It's a risky purchase. Knowing that it could happen to you, and it might not be a police officer informing you that you left your garage door open, is reassuring.

My wife and I are both concealed carriers, but we also have three children, so we bought this for our pistols next to our bed because we wanted to make sure that none of our children got a hold of one of our firearms, and this product made it secure and easy to access with just our fingerprint or code. We've had it for a few months and have never had any issues with it! It is something I would recommend to any gun owner.

You must first press the reset button, then enter the desired code, and then press the reset button once more. I had to think about it for a few days, but I'm glad I got it because I didn't want to return it. It's a fantastic lock box!.

The combination could not be changed, and despite numerous attempts, the fingerprint could not be recognized. As a result, I gave the safe back to the owner.

I used this safe for a year in my RV because it was the perfect size, until I misplaced the keys, which I am unable to replace (according to the manufacturer), so it's now useless. So it's my fault, not the manufacturer's.

The lock box is excellent

This is a lock box that keeps your firearms out of the hands of people who shouldn't have them, such as children. If you can mount it to a solid surface, that's even better. Easy to open with biometrics or code, and it's nice to have a backup key.
